If vampire lords would just stay off the front lines they would have taken over the world already.

So this is the one-and-only identity to this ivory-maned, crimson-covered vampire lord I've already seen images of through the Narrator's videos of lore on the undead. I hadn't been sure, due to the IP's basis upon tabletop wargaming and armies of miniatures, how common armour and general appearance such as Merovech's might have been inherited and held in tradition amongst the various leaders of the suckheads. More, sharper-pointier, darker physical similarities to Francis For Coppola's Dracula. This fable being further, welcome story-like lore to distinguish Bretonnia's own ancient history of vampire warfare, the included classical tragedy of brothers was attention-grabbing. Despite the grimdark separation of the two chapion siblings, the tactical victory over the bloodsucker duke in battle detail was refreshing in its success. Yes, please do bring on more corrupt Bretonnian nobility who became enemies to their own realm, GDN. Which also would be much more valid reasoning for the Bretonnians to turn in opposition against another of their own in their characteristic infighting form. Acclaim to the grail knight herein who classically turned his personal adversity into an impetus for heroic accomplishment. My thanks to you of course, Narrator, for continuing to enrich this alternate-French land of the Old World. 'Til the tales continue, have an awesome and healthy week. May the blessings of the Lady be upon you.

It is a cruel joke from thebpart of GW that the Fleur de Lys, the symbol historically assciated with France in the Warhammer universe is associated with the most corrupt realm of Bretonnia, the de facto Fantasy France.

There are fleurs de lys on the Couronnes coat of arms too. IRL it's a symbol associated with the Virgin Mary, who is the saint patron of France. Having her as a patron is a privilege granted to France by the pope before the Revolution along with the title of "Elder daughter of the Church". To get back to WHF, I feel like Moussillon could have been a much more developed faction, like with a VC alternative list like they did with Marienburg in the Empire army book, or as a full fleged faction with specific units and mechanics in TWW

@@AlshainFR Never thought that The Lady could be a reference to Mary. Warhammer always had a christian aesthetic too. Like Tolkien 's work after all...
