My new fav kingdom... "Welcome to Mousillon, mutants welcome, I am your hideously mutated duke, I am not a vampire but I encourage the rumors that I am to keep the real bloodsuckers away. Please lock the palisade when you come in to keep the zombies out. Would you like a bootleg ale?"

mousillon is a scary place indeed because anything that can be both skaven bright marshlands and Sylvania region Depressing atmosphere Would probably make any of those Knights Earon probably cry to theirselves being there also that knight 3:12 in the video looks like an elf since there's been some instances they hide themselves as humans within their realm 😃👍

Well tzeentch sent kairos threadweaver to steal the artifacts in bretonnia but when it came to mousillon they had help from an unlikely source nurgle had long been fond of this place as it was the breeding ground for some of his plagues he couldn’t bear the thought of it being destroyed by his hated brother tzeentch and thus unleashed his own army

@@GrimDarkNarrator Probably the french pop culture, yes. But after thinking about it more, I think it's because of the thousands of hours I spent playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 5, playing mostly the Castel faction.

Bretonnia's Sylvania-on-the-coast. No humans, elves or dwarfs actually want to live in swamplands. Even looking to the natives to Albion: they adapted having to put up with that geography into their overall more rugged - stalwart or stubborn - way of living basically. Such a landscape as this cursed duchy's only suits those who are hiding from justice and order, those who care to exploit that corruption while being corrupted themselves and the majority because they can't leave...on way or another. This remnant region also comes across kind of like a Bretonnian inverted, perverted Moot; supplanting readily-assimilating halflings for unfriendly and darkness-embracing mutants. The centralized location of that fortress-sized tomb to the fallen blood knight of a duke, much less its very existence, is unfortunate. Its sinking somehow and eerily is reminiscent of Skavenblight, and not merely because of the ratkins' invasive presence in Mousillon's history. As though a blend of Lady of the Lake karma with what good orderliness remained in that land resulting in an attempt to bury such a monument to the desecration of Mousillon honourability, nobility and very humanity. Pride along with desperation, goeth before the fall. The seaward side of this stained section of geography seems as though it could be particularly susceptible to ushering in the winds of Dar; straight into the capital and its castle. Merovech sounds a lot like Vlad Dracul or Bram Stoker's Dracula of real-world myth; more so than Vlad von Carstein, even. Including, as a symbol of what he was responsible for, the altered, corrupted and now-evil heraldry of bloodsucker skull, batwings and spearhead. Yeah, tearing out the throat of the king and goblet gobbling his blood is a fast-track ticket to rightful persecution as a national traitor. I'll look forward to hearing more of the entangled web of this duchy's convoluted history. Scorched earth - that seems to be the only lasting solution by all of the rest of Bretonnia to the embedded taint, haunting and Chaos of Mousillon. With the help of dwarfs or elves, ideally. Bretonnians never know when the skaven might re-surge from out of the Underempire beneath this dreary place. Is a mummy noble of Mousillon dressed in a full armoured suit and concealing helmet more mindless than a vampire or a wight; more apt to be externally controlled? Saving the worst, and lore-richest part for last...lore-rich because humans are commonly intrigued by that which has generally “turned wrong”, I think...this was a ghastly but complimentary entry to finally fill out your record of all thirteen duchies, GDN. I've really enjoyed your extensive journey across this entire land. Merci, monsieur, and thank you very much Narrator for enriching this world that so fascinates me. 'Til you continue here or anywhere else in the Old World, I wish you a healthy and awesomely uncorrupted next week. May the blessings of Sigmar and the Lady be upon you.

The Skaven have a poor track record against the undead it seems. As for this kingdom it has everything but greenskins as threats. They probably get a bad feeling from the place and just head to the mountains instead.

Hey GDM, love the vids as as always. Been waiting eagerly for this video👍 I asked this question before, but i dont think i was clear with my question: would you ever do a series where we essentially fan-expand on certain undeveloped or forgotten warhammer fantasy lore. Example being like "Pygmies were horribly racist, but the concept was good, lets try make an actual good faction that would actually fit and not he a mean spirited mockery of a group of people". Or again, for example "we have nearly 0% lore on kuresh, lets try homebrew some ideas i think would be interesting based on some lore we already know". Again love the videos. Take care my friend👍

I'd be open to that. My main requirements are adequately formulated text (aka legible), at least 10 minutes worth, and some representative pictures, even if they're not of the actual setting.
