I will add , in terms of mechanics :
Pacific has environmental effects such as Hot and Fever - The ETO box has no such effects.
The Pacific Locations encourage much more close quarters combat. A lot of the locations block line of sight or are isolated etc. What this means is long range weapons are not as useful.
The USMC soldiers included in Pacific have a unique skill called Gung Ho, which all marines have, it gives them a free attack when they move to a new location. The Soldiers in the ETO deck are just standard US Army.
The Japanese hostile deck is I think a bit easier though can be more deadly in close range compared to the German Hostiles included in the ETO box, who I find are more lethal at range - this is I think the games way of abstracting the Germans having more and heavier firepower vs the Japanese hostiles which, for example, have hostile effects such as infiltration and Banzai charge.
Personal opinion but I feel the missions and objectives in the Pacific box are better balanced and designed than those in the ETO box. The ETO missions can be a bit stingy with resource points - which is what you use t build and equip your squad.
Both games, in the action deck, have cards allowing you to call in Mortar or Sniper support but only the Pacific box includes action cards for Naval artillery support and close air support.
Overall I enjoy Warfighter WW2 but I do prefer the Pacific box and expansions.

Nice comparison video, I really enjoyed this. I wish this was out there a couple of months ago, when I was thinking about exactly this decision. But a double unboxing was fun to watch, too. :)

After all these years, this is the First time I've realised that Pacific has those campaign sheets! Just shows how useful such comparisons are. Really enjoyable video 👍

Thank you Boss. I am looking forward to playing the Tarawa Campaign and then as the Javanese with the Tarawa expansion. I purchase the game because of your videos, so thank you.

Hello and thanks for this video. One question,if you had to choose one of the 2, which one would you get?

Hi Anakin, thank you for watching. I am partial to the Pacific, but I think there is more content for the basic game. I got both, but if I had to choose, Pacific because of the theme. I think they are both good games and play basically the same.

Just had to check my copy as I had a multi-fold card with all the keywords on. But the way it had been printed always slightly annoyed me as it wasn't really in the order I'd expect (hard to explain). Turns out my copy is older though as the rulebook is from 2020, so it seems they've improved the keyword reference lookup.

I believe they have. My rule books both have April 2021 on them. The pamphlet for keywords works great for me so far.

I'm very new to warfighter. One question, can you mix the action decks?

Hi Nikolai, thanks for stopping by the channel. Yes to some degree you can. Keep in mind it is a solo game so you can do what you like and the two games fit well together although there may be some differences, as I remember they are slight.
