I am sad you lost the rules and you don’t remember much about them. You put a lot of effort into this game I feel and it’s a bit sad that you can’t really play it again
I know… ={ but I could redesign the game close to it original design and the core combat system I have been able to remember. =}
I’ve been trying to break my brain using cards like this to come up with a solo system for Columbia Games Quebec 1759. This game is almost impossible to play solo due to the order system
Hi Patrick, thank you for watching the video. Hopefully you got some ideas from watching this video and now I’m intrigued what you’re trying to do. I may have to get a copy that game and see what I could come up with. =}
Thank you for this video. The large display of the solo Bot cards a very helpful.
Hi Domme, thank you for watching. I am glad you found it useful. =}
I selected “like” for this video because you have the courage to lay out this game with a cat within striking distance of it. I keep the door closed so my three cats remain frustrated.
Thanks for watching =} Cabby loves to play wargames and help … lol
Thanks for sharing.
Hi David, thank you for watching. =}
How the hell did I miss this? My Der Weltrkieg Alarm needs a battery changing. Well done Sir!
nice video show the preview one about the game. is it similar like the hunters? playwise. thanks
Hi Daniel, thank you. It is not like hunters as you really have to manage your fuel and batteries. I happen to like both. =}
Thank you for this. Just got the game in the mail. I learn best by observing first...then reading about it. Can't wait to get this going!
Hi Pluto, thank you for watching. I am glad this helps. I really enjoyed playing this game, it is different from other solo sub games and I really found that refreshing and I hope you enjoy playing it. =}
Finally, a best solo game list that includes my absolute favorite solo game, Ambush! and its subsequent modules and sister game, Battle Hymm.
Hi Kevin, thank you for watching. Ambush was my first true solo game and I was amazed as a kid playing it. Still love it today! Next years list will have a few new entries that I picked up this year. =}
I think it's safe to say, cat not included.
Hi Ken thank you for watching. No Cabby is not included... LOL
gorgeous cat mine often interrupts as well
Hi GH, thanks for the visit. Cabby loves to involve herself whenever she can...sounds like yours does as well. =)
I’d love to hear what you think of this played solo. I’m always wary of a game that isn’t specifically designed to be played solo.
Hi Shane, thanks for watching. i plan too after i do a play thru of SOE: Lysander, the game that is next in my play queue. I will make sure and share my thoughts about solo play. I am like you, i don't mind playing both sides, but for solo i prefer solo specific designed games.
every gamer needs a cat gaming buddy. My Black Cat, Diesel, is my work buddy and my gaming buddy. if I am working to long or hard, he knows how to turn off monitors, and re-arrange the axis of attack of the panzers..
Hi Richard, thanks for watching and you are 100% correct. Cabby doesn't turn off my monitors but she likes to get between me and my two computers while I'm working so I can't type on the keyboards and likes to knock my pencils off the table every chance she gets...lol I bet Diesel is the same, the cats have a secret union.
I, for one, look forward to the cat's first official solo unboxing. Make it happen!
Looks like an interesting little game. Thanks for continuing to shine the light on some of the more obscure stuff out there in the wargaming world.
my pleasure, there are a lot of good games out there that could use a little love.
Appreciate the insight into he limitation with the mount maps alignment.
Hi Peter, you are welcome. As cool as the mounted map is, and I am glad i purchased it, you would be hard pressed to use it for the combined scenario. I don't think GMT did anything wrong and they made a fair compromise (IMHO) to offer a mounted map(s). Maybe I should have gotten a second mounted map?
@@HissyCat Ah, second maps; they often don't fit in the box when you have two copies. But listen to us, carrying on, when many people wonder where their meals will come from today 😟 . I just like the game. Thanks again for posting your thoughts online. I'm retired and terrible with technology, so I rely on people like yourself for help. Appreciate your help.
@@peterixon8708 i never forget how blessed i am. Thanks for watching and glad my videos help, even if just a little. =)
