Alexander... Just got my copies of Warfighter Europe and Pacific sorted out a day or two ago. I went in for EVERYTHING, including the Korean War and undead expansions. I also included the footlocker and LORD, with everything there, it filled up the box, with some to spare. The calculation here is that this game gives me the most far reaching options I could ever suspect. Beyond being able to play any side I choose, it brings a genuine "What IF" concept to the whole business. Alternative history is alive and well here in the Warfighter universe! This is a well thought out game that covers all options.*** Here's a thought... for a two player game, each player picks a side, and draws their troops. They start from opposite ends of the board and work to reach a common place before the other one does. First fellow there.... wins! I was a huge fan of Warfighter Modern and backed the KS some months ago. I think this must be the most complete war game out there... it's replayability is endless. Thanks for the review,

That's some interesting house ruling you posit, and would make a fascinating two player competitive game.

Great quick overview of the some game concepts for new players as well as game contents. Waiting for my copy, and the Australian expansion !

Another informative video. It's kind of odd that DVG included all those other cards for Warfighter ETO with the game. It would have been nice to offer those cards separately. I have Warfighter ETO but will probably not get the Pacific version. Likewise if you buy Warfighter Pacific you may never buy the ETO version and those cards are never used.

Does this new rulebook address the Action Deck situation? The original game had a deck but each expansion deck also had a few Action cards. The implication is that you're supposed to build the Action Deck according to the scenario but I never found any rules for this (such as what percentage of cards should be location cards).

Hope Alexander gets chance to respond to this. I've been holding off DVG games for a while now because their rulebooks are getting a bad reputation for omissions, lack of clarity, and poor format.

@@Caratacus1 I learned to play the original Warfighter WW2 by watching KZread. The rulebook isn't great but that's mainly due to the fact that squad building is fairly complex and has it's own sequence of play. It's almost like two different games played one after another. The game plays fine, I never found a situation during the game that wasn't covered by the rule. The problem was in the customization parts of the game. For example, it says to "Pick a Mission Card" but doesn't really say how. This is because they leave that up to the player. It's the same situation I mentioned about the Action Cards.

The short answer is that I don't think the rule book addresses this. With that being said, the four or five expansion decks that I have do not come with extra action cards, so that wasn't something we came across, and isn't in the rulebook.' I feel like the game is much easier to play and learn versus some of DVG's other titles, but still could be written with more precision. I had to look up Hand to Hand combat online and found a very useful video.

Is this an unboxing of the retail version or the kickstarter version? I was just on DVG's page and didn't see any mention of the campaigns or any of the other extra. It just said that it had marines and Japanese.

This is what you get if you buy it at retail. Some of it is from stretch goals, but is still included. The KS included a bunch of separate expansion packs too, not shown in this video.

I just bought the retail version and I didn't have anything from Korea or Europe. The only thing in my copy was strictly just from the Pacific theater.

You should invest in the footlocker.... makes life so much easier.

Hello I apologize but although I read English well I do not write it correctly. I have received the game that you show in the video by kickstarter and in addition to what you teach, I have received several decks of cards from countries such as Finland, China, Korea, Canada ...... these cards serve me for the pacific game? ?? I suppose not .... thank you

Finland and Canada are expansions for the European Theater base game. China and Korea are used in the Pacific version as part of the Korean War.

I find this a terrible wargame. No tactical organisation, no simulation at all. Give me Up Front anytime over this. A few dudesvscrolling along a jungle is NOT anything really.

You are in the minority. I have not bothered with the WWII versions of the game as that genre has been exhausted for years now, but I do own all of the Warfighter Modern and find it to be extremely tactical and very much a simulation. Maybe if your loadouts included more night-vision and fewer muskets, it would seem so for you as well. Not many Blackhawks to call in with the WWII version...

S L As a retired Army Officer and trained in FIBUA fighting I guess I can evaluate this thing :). NO military organisation, NO OOB, NO command structure. Just strolling along in a jungle with 4 dudes to kill some dudes around a drug lab. This is a time waster for Rambo movie watchers. Hint: : look out for historically correct military simulations not some dice rollers without substance. It is rather well known these series are not even close to a military simulation. Open a box of Panzer or Last Blitzkrieg and see a military Command structure behind those wargames. This is just dice rolling with unstructured cards play, a travesty frankly. Even on a gaming site like BGG it does not score highly, but as a wargame this is completely irrelevant.
