With the potential Manpads ZSU-23-4, It looks like Gaijin is looking to introduce an SPAA with cannons + manpads for more trees. Hopefully this means we see the VAB VCAA (2x20mm+ Mistrals), Stormer Air Defence (1x25mm/30mm bushmaster + stingers), and the Bradley Linebacker (1x25mm bushmaster + stingers).

2:40 the problem with the F-20 is that depending on what missiles they give it, it won’t even be a stopgap between the F-5 and F-16. It could theoretically carry better A2A than any of the F-16s in-game currently can since it could carry AMRAAMs which puts its BR into question

I can't remember for certain but I think I read somewhere the T-80UD also has improved turret armor. The composite arrays were optimized a bit iirc and thickened a little. As for the M60-2000 it might actually not get M829 but rather KE-W. Even tho it's going into the US tree, it was still only ever planned to be an export upgrade.

Have a feeling that the Canadian Leopard 2 and the T80UD will be premiums, since they’ve been adding high tier ground premiums now and that Leopard and T80 don’t add anything really special besides being unique

@@Sigil_Firebrand There are only a couple of aircraft that haven’t come to the game that I really want. The F-20 is one of them. I have a “stash” of fun money awaiting the occasion, however I would prefer it to be an event or better yet a tech tree vehicle. But as others have said, Gaijin knows this will be a sought after vehicle and will likely sell it. If it comes, it would likely be my last paid premium plane/ vehicle in the game as I can’t think of anything else I would want that isn’t likely to be in the regular tech tree and I own enough premium/event/battle pass vehicles to play for years to come.

I really hope so, British mains need an alternative to the slower Challenger 2s and the 2a4m and hopefully later the 2a6m would fit perfectly after the vickers

I would say M60-2000 is like 10.7, especially when AMBT is 10.0 with KE-W, but that is weak armor anywhere and has like 6.7 ace if that gets the 5 sec reload for 120 since abrams turret easy 10.7

Okay....now that was ground. Moving on to more interesting things and will dig for Aircraft leaks lol

From what I understood, is that these leak list do not necessarily mean that the vehicle will come in the next patch, but that gajin is working on it currently

No these leaks are what should be in the next major update. The only thing about this leak list is that it has gotten vehicles correct

gaijin will not implement the auto turret rotation for the merkava they didn't add the LWS for leclerc and if they add the turret system to merkava they will have to implement it to leclerc too (which i doubt)

really strange there is not spaa options for us. but every update, there is a new russian tank, new russian spaa. ect. like we need more options. also been waiting more the marine core lav with the bushmaster. yeah the bradly has the same gun but the lav has a lower profile and would be much faster. a better tank for mobility.

2a4m should not exceed 10.7 br it's gonna be the same leopard but with extra turret armour that's it.

Not happening bud. Expect it to be at least 11.3. It has more Armour than the Leopard 2PL...and that's also an upgraded 2A4. Allegedly it also has gen 3 thermals and uses DM53A2 compared to the 2PL's DM43. I'd honestly expect to be added at 11.7.

@liofka2999 oh that was accurate. The PSO-VT has gen 3. Upgrade turret or not it's relatively easy to find out what generation leopards use based on their gunner's sight. And the 2PSO retained the same sight the 2a5/2a6 uses. There's a few online forums confirming this. To add insult to injury....the 2A7A1 in German service with APS.....also probably has gen 1 thermals considering it was based on a 2A6A3 turret and from what I know also still uses the same optics. That being said though the 2A7A1 is harder to find reliable sources on as it was a splice between old and new parts of the German inventory.

france needs absolutely needs another high tiered premium mbt the amx30 super doesnt cut it...but then again warthunder hates france...every tech tree has 10.0 or above premium mbts except france give us a first gen leclrec or something...the grind is tough with a amx30 super and vbci 2...the somua got me through tier 4 in like 2 weeks i even bring it out in my 9.7 lineup and still get 2+kills the amx 30 super just doesnt do it....or give the amx30 a 6.5 sec reload or less

I'd love to have anything beyond 8.7 and before 11.7 that isn't borderline the same vehicle (AMX 30 Super / AMX 32 / AMX 40) or an SPAA would be kinda nice, the sole other vehicle right now is a premium boxer which looks kinda neat but it alone isn't enough to justify uptiering your whole setup to 9.7, especially considering that you basically get nothing but several copies of the same vehicle beyond 8.7. Or maybe an SPAA to fill up the still too large gap from 5.7 to 8.3, I love the TPK but it would be nice to have something better to bring alongside with it if I'm playing at 7.7. (I would say just make the AMX-30 DCA 7.7, but Gaijin seems to want to make sure that ground battles are made as miserable as possible by planes so that won't happen)

F20 being a premium would be a really dirty greedy move. Its an insane 4th gen jet. Mirage 4k and YAK 141 are TT and they were both ''what if'' vehicles so F20 should be TT.

Safe to assume Leo 2a4m is going to Brittain because they already got the Canadian ADATS and Canada is part of the Commonwealth. Sure America has one Canadian vehicle but it really doesn't belong there. Usually anything Britain had broadly ruled or had strong ties with will *usually* fall under the British tech tree. There are some exceptions.

Wouldn't be surprised if the FV721 was a much lower BR than you expect, *could* be as low as 6.0. I hope anyway. The British tech tree could do with a light tank that actually has good mobility at that BR. The ratel 90 is slower than some heavy tanks lol The AMX-13 DCA 40 and Leopard 40/70 are bellow that BR, both realistically have better mobility and better weapon handling, they also have comparable firepower (id personally say better) and equally useless armour. Maybe a slightly closer comparison is the BTR-80a is only at 7.3 with a continuous fire autocannon and 3 times the ammo. There is also the ratel 20 at 6.7. Less pen on the cannon but also has 7 Milan ATGMs. ...though Gaijin are seemingly Anglophobes, so it'll probably be over BR'd like a lot of other British vehicles lol

I'm almost 90% sure the guy who wrote the leaklist messed up when naming the AlphaJet to go to UK. They never operated AlphaJets, and the jet itself was produced by Dassault (France) and Dornier (Germany). The equivalent to the AlphaJet that the UK did operate was the BAE Systems Hawk, looked very similar and the two jets battled for contracts to other countries.

And to those who will say that the UK did operate these jets, you would be wrong, 12 of them were acquired from the Luftwaffe by Qinetiq, a mulitnational defense technology company that is headquartered in Farnborough, Hampshire. Of the 12 acquired, only 6 flew for this company. The AlphaJets flown by Qinetic were proper RAF military aircraft with serials in British service, but they never flew combat missions.

Canada was apart of the UK until April 17, 1982 when Canadian Parliament voted to secede from Her Majesty's United Kingdom and UK Parliament, if you also take into the fact that UK in game has some of the worst win rates compared to other nations, it would be a boon to UK if the Canadian Leopard 2A4M joined the British tree, not to mention if the 2A4M Leo is at 10.3 or 10.7 it can at least fill a void in between 10.0 to 11.0 since lets be real Challengers 1's compared to other tanks at same BR are crap compared to Russia, USA, Germany, and Israel/Sweden.

7:27 Actually 6TD engine used in T-80UD is very small and weight is about the same as GTD-1250 gas turbine. It has less power and torque though, so tank will be slower.

lets hope it's not just the UK and france considering germany is the main producer of it if I remember

Pretty lame. I just want the xp-72 and the p47j XF8B would be very interesting along with the xp-75 fisher (there are two variants). Wished the added the P-59B instead of the alpha. Whether they will or not, most likely won't, will just be seen. Probably added when war thunder gets to the point where they can't add anymore vehicles.

If the tiger shark is a premium it looks like my wallet will be taking a hit (also do you think they will test AMRAAMS on the tiger shark or do you think that’s more likely for next update)

Hell no test ammrams on a premium plane in a nation that generally has the highest player count, matchmaker would be a nightmare lol

the tiger 2 being added to sweeden is bullshit, especially when Britain should have a panther (it was called the cuckoo if youre wondering)

Since they denied the AMRAAM and JAS-39C (Swedish) for this patch, unless they add the US AV-8B+, this update will be a spit in the face...

No. Tiger IIs designation is Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf.B and the only Tiger Sweden ever got for testing was a Tiger II P

Leopard: 2A6/7V... and,,, taht are just the leo 2s. pls no more... i dont wanna grind anymore leos give better AA. give better scout. idc. just not another god fucking leopard. PLEASE!

its a shame, its a pretty dull leak list. they havnt added anything interesting in half a year.

@@DawgIVLife it's not about one or 2 vehicles. I'd like a shift in at least one update every year that focuses on lower tiers. 95% of everything they ever add now is focused on top tiers only. Most the player base doesn't play top tier. This means most players don't get any content in the updates. Players like myself who have been around since closed beta have unlocked most the content but not everyone enjoys top tier for many reasons so when they add just a couple lower tiers that's a couple ours of game play to unlock and the update has been used up. So many nations have huge gaps, plenty of content missing to fill gaps and expand their game play but that never happens any more.

@@DawgIVLife to answer more specifically what I'd like as a British fanboi I'd like a line of British light tanks and a line of British derp guns (probably 30 vehicles easy just for that) the their are the heavy tanks Britain still waits for after almost a decade in game.

@@thatoneguy1741 of course not. Players have to get to top tier, it's basic maths. Top tier is only about 10% of the entire tech tree content, people have to grind through 8 tiers to get to them. When they do another tree they have to start all over again. Most players in this game never even reach top tier but due to the grind and multitude of nations and vehicle types they keep starting at the bottom for new trees and game modes.

So no amram

Hopefully when they add the next Abram’s, they actually give it armor on the front.
