I have a serious question, and I ask for honest and cool - headed answer. How common are "Ethnic Russians who live in Ukraine"? Russia has claimed the Ukrainian government and majority Ukrainian citizenry treat them poorly? Ukrainians here, what have been your experiences and / or witnessed? Well, Taiwan is a little different. You were once part of China, but when the Communists won the war for the Capital City, those who opposed them dug in and "barricaded" in Taiwan. They planned when the Communist regime ended, they would return to being part of the whole. But, I though that is still your plan? Are the people of Taiwan no longer wanting to return to being part of China, when China end its Communism?

Why is your hairsplitting important anyway - was Ukraine never part of any Russian empire? BTW everybody loves having a foreigner explain their own history to them with the tacit presumption they themselves need the education. "No longer" wanting...? 85% of Taiwanese oppose being swallowed up by the authoritarian big brother empire, the disinterest has long roots and the violent HK clampdown didn't earn PRC too many new Taiwanese converts [Edit: "1.6% expressed support for reunification", National Chengchi University’s Election Study Center 2021.] And if you didn't notice, it's actually the same Communist Party dictatorship ruling China today, with the same Mao portrait and Maoist slogans decorating the Tian'anmen. "China end its communism". Well I guess if they found a way to make more money now, then that's gotta be all that matters... Receiving Western investments and taking over western manufacturing roles, didn't make China democratic despite the predictions of multiple elites. As we've all been made painfully aware, the people of Taiwan above all.

Inna, I just found you today. I too like in Kherson, as a foreigner, and have been there for the past 6 years. I happened to be in America when Russia invades. People from around the world are praying specifically for Kherson. Be strong. Keep going. We will not give up either. Thanks for the Ukrainian lessons. I have been fluent in Russian for 20 years, when it was the more prominent language, but have been wanting and needing to learn Ukrainian for a long time. Now I am absorbing it so quickly because my heart is so there with you all now. You will not be forgotten.

I'm trying to support as I can. I donated money, I brought food to a collection point in Milan, I'm even trying to learn a couple words, just in case refugees come to my town and I want to help. I live in the USA. Even though we don't agree all the time about many things, I haven't talked to anyone that thinks this war is just your problem. Conservatives, liberals, republican democrat, we are all taking this seriously. Many of us thought Putin would invade earlier. We had a good idea that the buildup was not a "training exercise". I was really surprised he waited until the Olympics were over. Many of us also greatly underestimated the Ukrainian people. Many of us thought that Putin would seize Kyiv within a week. I know people from several countries, but not from Ukraine. Thanks to channels like yours, many of us are learning about people in Ukraine. Also, I'm learning a little about people in Russia and Belarus. I see more in common than I see differences. People want to live, work, take care of their families. Everyone is sickened by this war. In the UK I don't know anyone that isn't supporting you and praying for you. We petition our government to do more and donate to the relief and humanitarian effort. I just found your channel from Connor’s channel. I’m American but i lived in Crimea and have traveled all around Ukraine before. I was planning to visit Kharkiv next month but now with this war everything is uncertain. I wanted to say that i love Ukraine very much and its people and the entire world is united behind you! Men from across the world are now traveling to Eastern Europe to volunteer to fight to help Ukraine. I hope you will continue making videos and keep us updated. Stay safe and stay strong!

Here's an idea for a language video. Being that lots of volunteers are coming in please do a basic phrase video for military volunteers. Then do a video for non combat volunteers.
