And also, Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in the twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you're no longer accumulating but withdrawing, it's hard to be anything but cautious.

"For the engine of war is produced by how people live, what they use from the Earth, what they believe they must have for themselves, and their endless quest for wealth and power and acquisition-beyond the simple needs of life, beyond what they actually need to live and to be sustained with stability and security." “War will end when humanity realizes that its borders to space are unguarded and that its resources here on Earth are becoming dangerously depleted. It will take all nations to bond together to protect the world from intervention from the outside and from collapse on the inside. In this, there is only one choice, for the alternative is too terrible to contemplate.” - Marshall Vian Summers The New Message

From the threat to the global economy to the looming nuclear threat, the conflict has changed the world as we know it. Russia has used its nuclear weapons as a kind of shield behind which to wage its war within the country, warning the west that if you intervene directly and they get in our way, you risk a conventional war that could escalate to nuclear weapons. Russia has used nuclear weapons to keep the west out of the conflict, and this makes nuclear weapons more important to the west.

The West has been surprised by Russia openly expressing, by way of the threat to use nuclear weapons, its profound fear of NATO’s military capability. The Ukraine war has unwittingly revealed Russia’s military to be a ‘Potemkin village’. The large size of Russia’s forces has been over matched by the quality of weaponry ranged against it. The finger nail quantities of equipment thus far supplied by NATO to Ukraine has brought Russia’s fabled mighty army to a halt. It is now abundantly apparent, even to those in the Kremlin, that a fully committed NATO would annihilate Russian forces within days. Russian forces are a reflection of its economy and government structure in being weak and riddled with corruption.

The Arab Spring was triggered by an increase in the cost of grain imports which government subsidies could not counteract. However, there's more than just grain exports/imports at play this time around. China and India have banned fertilizer exports and grain exports. Also, Ukraine is one of the world's largest exporters of potash for fertilizer. So the 3rd world is not only going to be short of grain imports due to blockaded Ukrainian ports but also short on fertilizer affecting their ability to grow crops. Also, none of the shipping insurance companies are willing to insure Russian ships and many shipping companies aren't allowing their ships to dock in Russian ports. Dockworkers are also refusing to load/unload Russian ships at foreign ports. The world should not appease Putin they should annihilate him.

Bear in mind that many of the abstentions could be assumed that they were sympathetic to Ukraine but did not want to offend Russia. So I would say that the overwhelming world's countries are against Russia. Also the food shortages will impact many of these poorer countries more so than the North Atlantic region so how can they be neutral or supportive of Russia when Russia is causing the food blockade in Ukraine making the food shortages critical for their countries.

There are quite a few politicians who say that Ukraine is asking for too many weapons. However, even the Independent reported that Russia uses twenty times more howitzers and has forty times more shells! However, Ukrainians still manage to restrain the offensive of the Russian occupiers, and even insignificant (in comparison with the size of the front) deliveries of howitzers allow them to inflict serious losses on the enemy! Statements that Ukraine asks too much only says that NATO has too little and is not really able to resist the onslaught of Russia! Therefore, it is urgently necessary to increase the production of howitzers, shells, tanks and other weapons! Now Ukrainians are actually defending not only themselves, but also other European countries! If Ukrainians fail, the following countries will be attacked! Putin once again said that he is ready to fight with other countries in order to capture them and expand the territory of Russia. Therefore, there is no time to stay in the illusion of imaginary security under the protection of NATO, since in reality, NATO's resources are completely insufficient to protect against Russian aggression!

Conventional media never tell you the story of the war . They focus on their agenda only and try to build global support either by propaganda or threatening to small and poor countries. 2. Western world and NATO have been lying and destroying many weaker nations for oil and natural resources and they cover them with their vindictive intentions. 3. They way US left Afghanistan has impacted Asia the way we look at west . 4. Ukraine’s negative approach to Minsk Agreement. Istanbul treaty. It’s AZoV battalions and 2014 Maidan drama with help of US funding. 5 . Lack of unity among EU nations. 6. Ukraine as a capital of corruption in Central Asia. 7 . London’ double standard as a civilised society and a safe heaven for rich criminals. 8 . Constant attempt by Putin for global peace which is ignored by US for their domestic policy against Russia.( please watch Oliver Stone’s interview with Putin). 9. Ukraine and western allies didn’t work together for a peaceful solution to stop this war but they add weapons and funding to keep the war as their agenda . 10. The economic sanctions may affect Russia for some time but the neutral country will be Russia’s alternative new market . Look at the way rouble is getting stronger. And lastly EU talk something and does opposite.

Its just begun, those who wanted this will get more than what they were willing to bargain for, they will regret. Those who were against now realize/understand why Russia made this move.Russia has not Officially declared war, when She does, consider it the begining of the end for life as we have become accustomed to.This Conflict is Truly Different from all prior conflicts,it actually started more than 18 years ago and some say will will go on for more than 30 years until most of humanity has been exterminated.Don't Blame Russia Entirely for this,DO YOUR HOMEWORK,GET TO THE ROOT,WHY -WHEN -WHERE -HOW -WHO,AND YOU WILL BE RICHLY REWARDED WITH THE TRUTH TO YOUR HONEST ENQUIRES.PEACE IS INTERNAL CORRELATING WITH THE SPACE WE OCCUPY,IT IS SELF EVIDENT,BUT MOST REFUSE TO SEE/FEEL ITS TRUE PRESENCE RIGHT IN FRONT OF US ALL.

He doesn't; What he understand is that citizens in Western democracies are afraid of nuclear war, without really understanding the zero-sum that such endeavors implies. He expected those fears to tamper governments in their protest and subsequent reaction to the invasion. Fact is: there are fears in the general pop, but not enough to pressure rational governments out of responses. On other hand many Europeans also felt the invasion of Ukraine as the wake up call to get prepare for a similar scenario (especially in Eastern Europe). Those did put pressure on governments for more stringent reactions. And we are here now.

We must take the blame for doing nothing whilst Ukraine was surrendered for weeks watching how Europe would react. We did nothing even Biden warned they would invade. Had the EU and NATO put 20,000 soldiers in Ukraine this could have been avoided. We have to carry much of the blame!

T3:25 Finland and Sweden may seek membership in NATO but Erdogan of Turkey will never allow it. Turkey cannot let Russia weaken so much that it ceases to counterbalance Western power and hegemony. The two autocrats, Erdogan and Putin, need each other ... they justify a world view for each other ... and it is not one so imaginary anymore ... look at the U.S. two years ago, and two years from now.

Sorry - min 0.21 "the most shocking moment since the end of the cold war" - WOT?! I grew up during the so-called "cold war". That was an agreement. An agreement between the "super powers" that there would never be a proper war again. I myself - and all the (very many) people I know - never feared a real war during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Despite what some idiots try to tell you (FGTH - Two Tribes was all fun!) . THIS IS THE MOST SHOCKING MOMENT SINCE THE START OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR! WAKE UP!!!
