It truly believe that in this day and age (and the amount of our bill every month)that you guys are able to stop this without people having to deal with it. You know how to , Just doit!!!

I live in Canada…and live with my 90+ yr old mom at home. We are soooo tired of these calls, it’s ridiculous and the phone company won’t do anything about them coz these callers make numerous fake ID numbers. Ughhh…when will it end !

There never should have been a "Do not call" agency created. The most common sense and simple solution is to create a "Do Call" list. If you sign up and are on the list, you'll get robo calls. If you are not signed up, then it's illegal to make a robo call and the caller will pay a huge fine. Problem solved

Radio Shack (remember them?) had a box that would automatically disconnect as soon as it was a computer call and send a message to the computer that the number doesn't exist. I have a friend that still has one and she says it works just fine.

Just bought a vtec phone that has a call blocker built in. Haven't had a chance to see the results yet. Hopefully it works well.

They are AWESOME!!! I have one for my home and after I started having quiet days I bought one for my church, too. I also bought a set of wireless call blocker phones from Panasonic. Now I can block 2,000 calls from the box and 2,000 more from the wireless phones. I cannot put a price on having peaceful and quiet days again. btw, I just started blocking area codes and certain prefixes, which is a wonderful feature. I searched on youtube for how to block area codes and prefixes with Panasonic and found the info I needed.

My wife just lets the phone ring but sometimes she'll press the End Call button to silence it. On my cellphone I keep Do Not Disturb turned on all the time and set to only allow my contacts to ring through. In Android 11 there's now a Screen Call button when the phone rings. When you press it the caller is notified that their call is being screened and to go ahead and say they are calling. If it's a human they usually just hang up but if it's a robocall their message shows up on the screen. Either way I block the phone number.

I don't answer the phone unless I know who it is that is calling

Neither do I. Problem is, my elderly mother does despite being scolded multiple times. Just last night I got so frustrated that I started picking up and hanging up then blocking the number. On one of my pick ups I hear her answer the phone too and next thing you know she's getting ready to give the caller her medicare number so she could get a free fat belt or some nonsense. I'm trying nomorobo tonight once I get home.

Will Digitone work when scammers / spammers spoof your area code? They have done that to me so I know they do that.

The Panasonic Call Blocker box lets you block 2,000 callers, including area codes and prefixes. Works on landlines and on digital phone lines, as well. I have one of the boxes and I also have a cordless set of their call block phones, so I can block 4,000 calls. You know you live in strange times when days without your phone ringing off the hook and feel kind of weird. The Panasonic products are definitely worth their weight in gold. I am not affiliated with the company in any way.

I'm a prosecutor. I got an email threat demanding money or they would expose the porn use on my internet connection. The connection he referred to is a dedicated and monitored District Attorney only internet line. Trust me, nothing inappropriate is happening on that connection. These idiots don't know or care.

Ask Tucumcari NM if they have any initiation as the one doing the calling.

NoMo Robo is real good and I have heard even scam fighters talking about it.

Anyone know why I’m getting the same call from someone named “M Bingham” ? I don’t know this person. I keep getting the same call with the same area code. Then I block the call. Then I get another call with the same area code but different numbers after the area code, then I block that call with the same “M Bingham”, then I block that new number. And soon enough I get another call. Anyone know what this is?

I almost never get scam calls on cell, it's always fios digital voice. I get tons on fios

Cell phone companies need to get with the program. They are a joke when it comes to blocking that stuff. my landline tele marketer screening. works awesome. Whoever calls they hear a recording that says," the number you have dialed does not accept calls from solicitors. If you are a solicitor please hang up and add. Do not call to your list otherwise stay on the line or press 1 to be connected." Works awesome... have not had a junk call since

The "Do not call list" does not work. I get 100 calls a day. 4 were for me. The rest telemarketers. Phone company says we cannot use these devices, when they start PAYING my bill, then they have the right to dictate what I put on my house.

Scream and yell at them. Maybe they will get the message to never call you again. This has gone on for to long, people want privacy, not to be harassed by a telephone call all the time.

but this app will not support all carriers so check to see if it will work with your company most people dont have land lines any more they use there cell phones now cause they dont want to hear there phone ring off the hook all the time.

A landline phone is your house phone, the type that has the cord. Cordless phones are not considered, landline. Cordless phones are more convenient, but did you know; if u have more than one house phone in your home, one of those phones needs to be a landline phone with the" curly cord", because whenever there is a power outage, cordless phones are useless. Cordless phones will not work during a power outage, but the landline phone, will.

@@nancymuller3291 I know exactly what you mean, bc I have the same issue with my landline phone, bc, I have uverse service. So, my landline phone doesn't work during an outage. Once when a technician was in my home, he stated, "All landline phones will be wireless too in the future."

@@nancymuller3291 Then you don't have a land line , landlines are on copper fed cables not cable digital lines , if your power goes out it has nothing to do with a copper fed land line.

This doesn’t tell you how to get it

I have Caller ID and I just simply look at the phone when I am called and if I do not know the number or the location it is coming from I let my answer machine answer. Its annoying I know but better than spending a lot of time and effort to stop it.
