This is arbitration court. Matt is the arbitrator. They agree beforehand to legally abide by his decision. Same as how it works in Judge Judy.

@@wlaba272it's a thing in Canada (and probably lots of other places) too. Falls under the umbrella of "alternative dispute resolution" meant to take pressure off the courts (and in this particular case, also to entertain people)

I think it’s the same deal as Judge Judy and all those sorts of shows… these people were already suing each other in civil small claims court, and agree to allow Walsh to be the third party arbitrator and pass a “judgement” on their disputes 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

As for why I decided to comment, I just felt like leaving a review. I left it and moved on. And yes, I thought it could have been funny because Matt has that dry bluntness, and I do find his criticism funny. It's funny because you commenting about my comment is the same as what I did and so you're doing the same thing. However, thank you for your criticism.

You can't make the claim something is stupid when you can't put together a single coherent sentence. Walsh is a content creator. He makes content. But there's also a real point behind this video. It's not just pointless entertainment that feeds the rot. There's a purpose behind this satire outside of entertainment.
