I personally prefer self check out and heres why. They changed the regular check outs a long time ago so you cant see what the prices r until after you get your receipt. Often times the price on the shelf and the price you r charged is very different. Self check out I can see each price as I scan it.

That is crazy cause all we hear around our area is how much loss Walmart has had! I truly believe it's due to all of the self checkouts they put into the stores. I really hate them

I took am always on the lookout for lambs. All I see is bunnies cows and pigs from buckees to hobby lobby, target etc . I refuse to do self checkout and luckily in my small town they are opening more registers. I heard that they realized theft went up with self checkout so they are going to open more lanes and start rolling back prices.

Hi Val, I certainly enjoyed the trip to Walmart. I haven’t been there in a few months so I’m excited to see if ours is like yours. I certainly hope they are in NO way trying to be like target!!! They would be making a horrible mistake. In Indiana, because of the stand target has decided to take, target is taking a Hugh financial hit!🤗🤗. I don’t like any of the flocked bunnies. I don’t like self checkout either. I feel guilty going through those lines. I’m putting an individual out of work….why else would they be doing this? I really like pink, but it’s not our choice of color in our kitchen. I wanted to let you know our Dollar General is closed. We have Meijer stores here and they are really nice stores for your groceries and other things. I think it’s a little more expensive than Walmart. I normally was able to use the Equate (Walmart) brand and it was not only good but a good deal cheaper. Just always read the ingredients. We use it more in the non food section than food items. I thought the pillows were cute, but I really liked Hobby Lobby’s much better!! We have to always remember the true meaning of Easter….He Arose!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

My Walmart has had the Dollar spot and grab n go for a couple of years now. I never bother to go in either section. The dollar spot is too expensive on most items to be in that section. I would never buy any product with Paris Hilton or Drew Barrymore’s name on it. Walmart you are forgetting who shops in your store. Just my opinion.

I bought a three pack of little (straw type material) lambs at Homegoods but, you know how things go fast. You’d think the Walmart employees would just throw away those broken pieces🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a similar experience at a Dollar Tree recently. I swear it was like a bomb went off. There were broken items, items on the floor. You couldn’t get a cart down the aisles, because there were boxes everywhere. I love Dollar Tree,but I won’t go back to this one.

I love pink. I love pink kitchen things and I actually have a small pink heart-shaped Dutch oven by Paris Hilton. I'm not actually a Paris Hilton fan though, but I like finding pink kitchen things

I love their Easter decor but this Hilton and Barrymore line is not for me. I believe the things you see that are broken was done on purpose. I have the felt bunny and a gold bunny and they are lovely.

I didn’t care for most of what I saw. It’s a pain to self checkout & then assistance is required, but I like to organize my stuff neatly into bags the way I want to unpack it😂

Well hey! at least you have a good reason to use that, then: you want your collection of items to be a certain way! I refuse to use the self-checkout b/c I'm not employed by Walmart (or any other store) as a cashier, so why do that job? Now, if they gave me a decent discount for using the self-checkout, I'd consider it.

Those bunnies were definitely damaged by some hateful person on purpose. That's too many for an accident. My local Walmart in Florida has had those little sections for a couple years now. Thanks for sharing your video.

I love shopping with you. I'm so not interested in self checkout. I have to pay way more than I want to pay so I refuse to have to checkout my own groceries and have someone stand and eagle eye me like I'm a shoplifter. I just feel if a store refuses to offer customer service then I don't need to shop there. I realize the plan is to do away with humans and go AI. Seems like they wanted everyone to buy loads of bunnies . I stick to the true meaning of Easter myself. ❤

My local Walmart revamped the store similar to this one several months ago. I'm not a fan. I feel as if some of the items are organized in a nonsensical manner and I don't feel as if there like it used to be. I too am not a fan of self checkout and always go to the regular checkout. I was not blown away by the Easter decor selection either.

I actually agree with your approach. I decide on my own how much something is worth to me. I do find like you, searching is necessary. There are bargains but you really have to look, absolutely everywhere-all departments, but again you really have to spend alot of time looking!

Our Walmart redid the store in the fall and now they have realized that self checkout equals lots of theft so they are limiting and/or closing the self checkouts after they spent all that time and money putting them in. Now they have to reopen the regular checkouts and rehire cashiers.

probably just as well that rural Iowa has none of these items to buy. Walmart is the most shocking in comparison to your store. DT and DG not far behind. I would just spend more money!

We've had the grab and go section for a while. Only our Neighborhood WM has the dollar section along the checkout and they are only self checkout. All our regular WMs are taking all the self checkouts out of the stores and hiring cashiers due to theft. They told me that they will actually be removing the machines. I hope they hire more cashiers tho cause they only had about 8 open and we have big stores.

Those black bowl sets collection isn’t even selling in my Walmarts clearance area.

Easter is about Ishtar the godess of fertility, hence the bunnies and eggs. All the babies conceived at the fertility ritual are sacrificed 9 months later, Christmas.

Our Walmart has had mostly self checkout for the past couple of years (or maybe longer). There are only 2 or 3 cashier lines. Dollar General is the same, and even a Michael's I went to recently had self checkout.

I am from Walmart central so our stores always have the new stuff, but I have never been super impressed with the dollar spot. Our Grab&Go area also has meal prep type food/meals. This store did have really nice decor items. Walmart does seem to have price increases without reason. Love your videos! Hobby Lobby has the same egg crates in melamine which is much safer in my home

Yeah I prefer self-checkout especially no offense to some cashiers but if they're slower it's just very time-consuming especially after you've spent so much time in the store to shop because they're always so crowded. I'm in New Jersey our stores are not separated into dollar sections and like you showed in your video. I would prefer that type of setup but they are mainly self-checkout here as well

For the most part I am not impressed at all. For a few items I was impressed with, that quickly diminished when you gave the price😮 seriously people, if you “buy” into the prices they will continue to increase the prices. Stop “buying” into this corporate greed. Again, not impressed with the “new” Walmart. Oh, and re: self check out, you and I are paying for that😉😉😉 (stepping down from my soap box now!)☹️

Our Walmart has Grab n Go plus the Paris Hilton Collection. I'm not a pink kitchen person and not a Paris Hilton fan, so I won't be buying any of that! Yes, we have more self check outs than full serve and the broken bunnies, I feel we're done by bored children (spring break perhaps) with no parental supervision. So sad since customers end up paying in the end. I am starting to shop other stores for my groceries, craft supplies, and some home goods.

Your cart will calculate all your items and charge you as it is put in the cart. No more self check out as we know it now. There r barriers at the door that wont let you out unless your items are paid for.

Well I agree with everything that you're talking about we don't have a Dollar Tree Plus at our Walmart and I don't think my Walmart has the room to do that

The walmart that is closer to me is all updated. I think it's about two checks out and all self check out. Most of the time, you still have to wait because they are closed. I try my best not to even go Wal-Mart.

That was pitiful needless to say I won’t be rushing out to Walmart anytime soon! I also try not to use the self checkout I don’t like taking away jobs for those that need them and I don’t work for free!

Def a fan of self check out, almost 100% of the time. I was in a Walmart at least 10 self check registers that were approximately 5x5 each. Probably had 30-40 people in line. Wait time was horrendous-put my selections back and left without a purchase.

I VISITED WALMART --- AND WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE EASTER --- THINKING I WAS TO EARLY --- WENT BACK TO THE THOMASVILLE WALMART ONLY TO DISCOVER THE EASTER INVENTORY WAS STILL SO BAD....UGH!

The one thing they’re lacking at Walmart that they do at Target and Kohls, is zoning their departments. It’s a little extra effort on making sure it’s all neat and tidy. Stuff is where it’s supposed to be. And certainly broken items are not neat and tidy. Mishaps happen. Those items get scanned for inventory and thrown away. Know-one wants broken items. I’ve not seen any of those eggs at my dollar tree. Only plastic eggs galore. Not into the felted bunnies either. If they get on each other, in time in storage they’re going to get funky. A waste of money. And holy cow on prices too. I am very impressed with the my Texas house items. Probably the only brand I see that I would purchase. And Pink is in like Flynn. lol I see it everywhere. Be careful with trendy stuff as it comes and goes like the wind. ❤
