This world is honestly so gorgeous. I think it rivals even the randomized block worlds. I just love the always-underground aesthetic of it.

@@Doodlinka You wouldn't have to make it thinner (The game would be extremely difficult with just a small downscale at this point,) but you could theoretically make it just 3-4 blocks wide and still play on it

There’s a ”dark souls esque” metroidvania map/mod called Story of the Red Cloud, it’s for an older terraria version, but definitely worth a play if you’re into that.

For a while I forgot how far the world stretched horizontally and was afraid the wall was going to come from the left

When you wake up in the middle of the night because you could literally smell this video being posted.

Tip: you can fish with any bait IF you have the lava-proof hook equipped, this may help to not take so long to fish in lava

the bait, accessory, and hotline fishing rod only provide a portion of lava fishing power each. using all three at the same time gives the best odds, while using only one or two gets you one or two third of the power. it could still be better to use high fishing power bait if you don't have good lava bait, but not ideal.

18:12 probably piercing mechanics - your fire imp shot a fireball that hit part of wof, giving it invulnerability frames. that stopped the bunnies from hurting that part of wof

Considering how throughly he explored this game Im preety sure he already knows this, and only specified that the 2 worlds had corruption and crimson to explain the well... corruption and crimson

They're almost certainly aware of that. I am pretty sure they just meant 2 worlds so the dungeon would have both a crimson and a corruption chest and the dungeon happened to have different colours on those worlds, not claiming that they were different because of the world evil.

Yeah I meant that the colours were different because I grabbed the terrain from both the worlds to get both the world evil chests, not that the colour change was caused by the difference in world evil. Correlation not causation I suppose.

15:31 In my experience, there are times where it just works, and is only just a little slower than regular fishing, and then there’s the other maybe half to two thirds of the time, where it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s broken or not because it’s going so slow

I’m not sure why, but I REALLY hope you finish the mine cart track. It would be satisfying if you were able to travel the entire world all at once like that.

Minecart tracks were how I actually made my Not the Bees world navigable early on-making a track over the jungle was a massive help.

I think your floating island is a bit too far underground to call floating or an island

beating WoF in this world looks interesting, gonna try this with night's edge + ferral claw

Hoiking out of Bounds is really smart, i never would have thought to do that,

@@freezingfire127 Honestly, the corruption going past Hell and slowly spreading from the bottom in a very claustrophobic world like WoS's gives me Dead Space vibes.

normal people when they need obsidian: guess its time to go to hell with a water bucket wand of sparking when he needs obsidian: TIME TO BREAK THE FABRIC OF VIDEOGAME LOGIC AND MINE THE BOUNDS OF MY WORLD!!!

This run feels more different to the tall world than I expected. I like it!

You really put a lot of effort into this world, and it payed off

You should totally give yourself the mech cart at the end and fly across the world, I think it would be really cool :)

The wall of flesh can only move according to ash blocks. So if you places ash blocks along the floor it should move up with them.

You have such good taste in video game music it's unreal. Did not expect the Super Metroid music but it was definitely a great choice!

A tip for inventory management. Bring piggy bank with you. You can place it and dump the items you are least likely to get more of, this way you do not make two stacks of them - and when you do you can stack them into the storage. Been using this trick myself for a while, makes resource gathering sessions last longer and reduces the amount of stuff i have to sacrisfice

Fighting Wall of Flesh up a slope is honestly a really dope arena.

i think whips and summons would be very strong for this playthrough especially since whips will be able to hit bosses who pass through blocks like queen bee and skeletron

This is why I fucking love summoner in 1.4 whips going through walls to hit noclip enemies (and only noclip enemies) is so great compared to like almost every other attack type that gets stopped by them for no good reason why can't this be a universal thing

@@Starfloofle the blades and sanguine vampires are my favorite. sanguine vampire with the firecracker is my go to loadout right after wall of flesh and the blades and whip stacking with spinal tap, durendal and snapthorn

the metroid music when you got to hell put a smile on my face

The map looks really awesome after you hit Corruption, might actually try this out later

Little neat thing about the WOF, it paths around Ash blocks specifically, if you coat the bottom part of the slope in ash blocks, it shouldn't go through them

What about a challenge where you can only use weapons exclusive to events? (invasions, festive/bloody moons Frost legion maybe, NOT lunar, sandstorm, lantern night, etc.) I feel that not only will it be an interesting challenge, But I also feel like it will shine a light on some little used items, like the shadowflame hex doll or the horseman's blade.

You could roll boulders down to deal lots of damage to groups of enemies, or bosses. Also I know you killed the WOF already, but if you place ash blocks, WOF will try to go above it (usually, I dont know how itd react to this strange world)

Excellent as always! By the way, if you get a weapon like a whip that hits through walls, The Twins will be EZ Twins only can hit through blocks when they are charging.

If there’s ever an area in your minecart tunnel you don’t want to break, add one track horizontally and ramp the thing!

Since you have the conch acting as a bed, you can place the actual bed lower down as a free teleporter and use recall potions to get there.

This run is so cool so far! A part of me wishes you'd gone for the bunniless approach, but I know that's not something I'd be willing to try - it seems like it'd be REALLY hard! Not sure how the Hallow works at this point, though - it obviously didn't cover the entirety of your diagonal world.

I have an idea: make a sort of ‘boulder slide’ that rolls boulders into a boss dealing insane amounts of damage. Maybe that’s a good idea?

I believe The Wall of Flesh would continue to climb the slope if you put a layer of Ash Block along the bottom
