WALL∙E’s “Day At Work”
Фильм және анимация
Catch a peak at how WALL∙E spends a normal day at work.
What if mankind had to leave Earth and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? WALL∙E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for. From Academy Award®-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo”), Disney∙Pixar’s WALL∙E is the story of one robot's comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy.
WALL∙E comes to theaters on June 27, 2008! Visit www.wall-e.com for more information!

I believe there is some symbolism in the ring scene. Wall-E doesn't care about money or jewelry, so he just tosses the ring away like it's worth nothing to him. Instead he's more interested in the way the box cover is hinged and can be moved. This strongly suggests that there is no real monetary value to items anymore, but Wall-E still collects things that he personally finds interesting.

I love how all the sentiant robots stay to their prgrammining but stray away from it. WALL-E compresses and cleans trash, but still collects anything that interests him. EVE tries to get the plant back to the ship, but still likes to leasure around and dance. MO wants to make sure everyones clean, but he still has moral judgement and saves WALL-E from being sucked into space. Finally AUTO, who is mostly following the order of "Keep Everyone in Space", but definitely has a need to control EVERYTHING.
@splitjawjanitor5369
Жыл бұрын
MO saving WALL-E from getting spaced was accidental on MO's part, they just jammed the airlock trying to get close enough to WALL-E to clean them. I'd say MO's deviant trait is how they're willing to ignore protocol (e.g. jumping off their guideline) to get their job done.
@ColdFuse96
Жыл бұрын
The need to control everything stems from the "Keep Everyone Safe" command. He knows humans cant be trusted with their own freedom, and knows, more than likely, from history archives how prone to impulse and irrationality humans are upon hearing what they dont like, so he determined that the only way to keep everyone safe is to keep everyone in a blissful state of ignorance, away from any thoughts that could trigger an act of violence and rebellion. And he was right.

I swear if Pixar makes a sequel or prequel to Wall-e I will never forgive them.
@carrevenger31
4 жыл бұрын
A prequel or sequel could be very good.if they make a prequel it will be about wall e working with the other wall e's and we see how wall e ended up being the last robot on earth,this sounds like it would be a 30-minute long short,but maybe they can add this:Wall E had a best friend called Wall E two,and we see him hanging out with his friend,but,it will not look like a good friendship,since wall e only felt lonely and had feelings when he was the last one left on earth,OR,wall e is an outcast who gets mistreated by other robots because he actually has feelings and only one wall e actually likes him for that.I want an adventure in this movie,here is how an adventure and some action and conflict could be,wall e and his friend decided to go to a place no robot really collects trash at and abandon,they decide to collect trash there,but,they entered it through a gate,and the gate closes,and they are trapped there,it turns out that the place is haunted by broken down robots,so the place wall e and his friend went to was a robot graveyard technically.There is only one broken down robot that is still alive,but can barely even move,and we learn that when he heard wall e and his friend coming,he wanted to get help,so he had the courage to move quickly.Wall e and his friend use the almost broken down robot to their advantage to escape,they fail though.They need to actually get out of the place or else they will break down because we see that wall e and his friend start breaking some of the parts,but luckily,they fix them.Finally,the robots team up and actually escape,and they go back home,but,they helped fix the broken down robot and said goodbye to him.Then wall e and his friend get home and they are fine,and the other wall e's don't care that they were gone since they are busy doing there job.I forgot to say,wall e's friend is kind of like every other robot since he doesn't have emotion,but he does like wall e for who he is.Then the ending to the movie comes,and it's a tear jerker. We go into the future 278 years after the event in this prequel,and wall e and his friend are the last two robots left on earth,so what happens in the ending is wall e's friend is working,and he wasn'the looking down on the floor,and he fell off a very high cliff,and wall e heard it and checked what happened.What happened is wall e's friend broke in pieces.Wall e goes down the cliff safely,and checks his friend,and he is still alive,and wall e is worried through his looks,and wall e's friend is slowly breaking apart,and he says "Haaaaveee fffunnnn onnon eaarth"I said it like that because wall e sounds like that.Wall e's friend then dies.Then the last minute of the movie is in the future,during the opening of wall e before he met eve.the first 2 minutes and a half of wall e,is the last 2 minutes and a half of the wall e prequel,it's gonna be the same exact thing as the opening to wall e with the song and the wall e introduction,BUT,the wall e prequel ends with the wall e title appearing like in the first movie,BUT,it won't say wall e,it will say THE END,with the same music playing after the title in wall e. Remember,this is my idea to a prequel,which I think is a very good story. Oh wait,I forgot to say.LITERALLY THIS WHOLE MOVIE IS GONNA BE VISUAL STORYTELLING AND NO DIALOGUE.like the first wall e,except it's the whole movie

this is a great movie, i just loved his naivety combined with his commitment of following his prime directive, which is ofcourse cleaning up the garbage! despite it being an exercise in futilty! there's something heartwarming about this character and you just can't take your eyes off him and feel sad for his loneliness!
why can't there be a man like wall-e he's better than your average man to this day

It's kind of depressing that Sentient Walle is the only one whose been continuing his job for 700 years. Noone to help him, nothing to remind him of his fallen brothers. Just a pet cockroach and a mission. Pixar really was a prime studio back then for making us realize how deep these movies can get.

Take note, Frozen!
This is up there on my most favorite Disney Pixar movies. The early 2000s were great for this kind of stuff. Especially because these movies taught a good lesson by the end of it.
Wall.E is the perfect film to watch on Valentine's Day. It's pretty much the only "romance" film that doesn't give me 2nd hand embarrassment
Wall-E, refusing to stop working even when his brothers got offlined: "I'm doing my part!"
As a kid, I seriously doubted this being animated. That's how good the animation was.
This is literally me when I clean my room Find random shit I've forgotten and mess with it
This is my crying movie. Wall e has such a big spot in my heart 🥺
I remember watching this a long time ago as a kid.

i relate alot to wall_e because even tho the world is gone to shit he still sees the light in it and his curious mind is just like when i was a kid. this movie could be a dark and sad movie. but it learned me to look at the world at a much brighter point of view. i know it sounds weird but im baked af. see ya
He opened the box picked the ring up and was like ,' oh cool,' the looked at the box and was like,' A BOX! AWESOME! JACKPOT! Classic ❤️😂
ok, you know what i love about this scene? there's so much detail on the little things you don't really notice, but still add to the world. the way WALL-E is animated is actually amazing, especially for 12 years ago. notice the little stiff wobbles in his movement, something that a robot would do. really life-like
To call Wall-E cute... Is an understatement of EPIC proportions!
I though wall-E was always sad because his eyes. me and my dad just watch it and I cry, I don't know why it just sad in my opinion.
Wall-e body language sequences are the best
0:33 brawls are sunglasses lol
0:35 WOW
What an amazing movie. One of the best Pixar movies that address environmental issues, consumerism and society intertwined in a romance narrative.
I loved this movie as a kid. Love rewatching it still.
Wall-e is one of the most amazing character designs I’ve ever seen. For only having eyes as a face, they have made him so expressive and unique.
I would love to see a video where Wall-E meets Johnny 5 from Short Circuit

Definitely. They even sound alike XD.
I find it so ironic that Pixar managed to put emotion into a character like Wall-E, but Disney struggled to do the same with the Lion King remake.
I cried when I was watching through Wall-e. A robot was getting more action than me.
Wall-e is my favorite Pixar character
Awesome. I can't wait. I am so excited for this movie. I love the part where he tosses out the ring and keeps the little box it comes in. So awesome.
