    I think that with this latest ALBION we have reached the top in the world: the possibility with a single library to blend an orchestral approach to the electronic one in a futuristic key. Contemporary experimentation and tradition in a product that could revolutionize the composition for media from now on

    Yeah I had albion one and tundra before this. Never expected such a complete library. And the moods. Oh my gods the moods.

    So much texture & moody meandering character. Love that the hurdy gurdy was included, to add to the unusual combinations possible. What a wonderful jumping off point and way to break writer's block. Hurrah for randomize, to catapult us beyond our habits and experience. Thanks for the demo Homay!

    This is the second Spitfire library I’ve purchased (I also have Studio Orchestra Professional), and I’m slowly coming to grips with its many components. This video is helpful, as I wasn’t really sure what the drone grid was all about. The library is very interesting as a whole. It has an intimate, soulful sound and is very inspiring. I highly recommend it to composers looking for something different.

    These Sounds are awesome. And i like the chords you play through the video. In the other videos the guy played lots of Creepy Stuff. I enjoyed your Playing Style so much. Very inspiring!!! :)

    Fantastic demo, thank you Lauren. I bought this library on release and only getting round to explore it now. I was intimidated at first but after watching this demo I realise, as you say yourself, it is not as complex as it first appears. Totally inspiring. Brilliant work. Thank you Team Spitfire!

    Great sounds - grid always seems the wrong way round to me - shouldn't C1 be at the bottom and G5 at the top?

    Thank you so much for the video. How do you get the keyboard to show up at the bottom with the different colors? I also use Logic but I am a beginner with this DAW as I have used Cubase in the past but wanted to switch.

    It's in Kontakt, you can hide/show the keyboard within Kontakt (it's not a Logic function here)

    How do you save the grid if you like the random combination?

  • @TheCrowHillCo

    @TheCrowHillCo

    A couple of ways... simply save the patch within Kontakt (hit floppy disk name your file select your destination and then its done) or within your DAW. So in Logic save it as a channel strip preset.

    fantastic instrument, it'll join my other Spitfire libraries. BUT. does anyone else wonder about the choice to organize the EVO grid with the lowest key areas at the TOP of the grid? non-intuitive for me, thought i've adjusted.

    All of this reminds me so much of Peter Gabriel's Passion soundtrack. Also, I'm hopelessly in love with Homay. I suspect she's also made by Spitfire to lure me into buying everything they make. No way is she real 😜
