Guys don't forget Mr.Neil Peart and Mr. Charlie Watts.
I loved and cherished Led Zeppelin from day one, but John Bonham was, is, and forever will be an ICON for drummers. His special gift, remarkable way of giving life to his personal way of playing drums will always be remembered, NEVER forgotten I still miss him, and I always will...
I always loved the way John Bonham played!
Thank you Bonzo, rock in peace hero! We love you.
Arguably the finest drummer. Ever.

Wow thanks,I had dreamed of going there some day. I think this is a nice quiet place that suits John who loved the countyside and his farm.We will never forget you John, we lived the same dream through your drumming which was irreplaceable.
Forty years gone, still so incredibly moving….

I was 10 yrs old when he passed. I knew nothing of Zeppelin at that time, except hearing the name. I walked into a Grocery Store with my Mom, and every magazine had this guy on the Cover, with his "Died, Sept 25th." I remember thinking, "damn, this guy must be really famous to be on every magazine in the store." Little did I know he was the greatest rock drummer of the greatest group of all time.

Its not your fault Mom raised you wrong lol. I jest i jest
I remember hearing the news as a HS senior. We were so blasé about rock stars dying. We were upset that the tour was postponed. The next day we were already discussing rock drummers as potential replacements. Horrible. Personally, I don't think Robert Plant ever got over it. Combine that with the death of his son while he was thousands of miles away on a tour and a jeep accident that nearly killed his wife, and a Zeppelin reunion was unthinkable to him. Would have loved to have seen them, but you've got to respect that.

That 's an old historical cemetery. I bet they have chiming bells at the church for Mass. Beautiful . I think Bonham would like it here. RIP . The Greatest Drummer of all time.
Great to see Johns resting place RIP
He had a gift. He made the most of it, & we all benefitted because of it!
I found this very moving
Must admit....the grave isn't well kept!! WTH!!
Such great artistry and passion ..laid to rest in a peaceful nook ,away from the clatter of life ! Rip. John Bonham
A very peaceful place. I was lucky enough to hear John playing live with Led Zepp at Knebworth, not long before he passed. Thanks for uploading this but I wish you'd spent more time focusing on the inscription, so that I could have read the whole thing!

I lost it a bit when I saw the two piles of drumsticks. ... VERY nice.
WoW! You think someone ….anyone could upkeep his grave sight !!! I’m sure this is uttered every time someone watches this video. Damn I’m sure someone in the family if not the whole family is still receiving money from his Estate/Zeppelin catalog.
BEAUTIFUL AREA, GRAVE IS A HOTTT MESS, COME ON JASON,
that makes me really sad
thanks for this

Beautiful setting. I know the grave isn't manicured but somehow it looks right to me.
Such a tragedy 😕
JB created a signature sound which time can`t erase . At 32 we were all robbed of his great talent - R.I.P.
Reminds me to go to the cemetery and clean up my parents grave
On this day (Sept 25th, 2021) the great John Bonham, drummer for Led Zeppelin, died 41 years ago.
I still remember vividly that dreadful day sitting in crafts class when the news hit. 😔🙏
Thanks for sharing

I couldnt play as well as him in the least but the more i learned about his techniques the more i realized they sound much more complex than they actually are. To be clear, i mean that in the most endearing way possible.
I believe Bonzo is in peace and completely at ease in this truly beautiful place. He was never an overly fussy or pretentious guy, so his final resting place reflects him perfectly. And his wonderful son carries the torch now. RIP Bonzo.
Oh my goodness, who’s in charge of maintenance, Rip Bonzo
Shocking state to be in !! The mans a rock legend if i was nearby id dress that with pride
There is not at least one fan who lives near John's grave that could offer to help care for and keep his gravesite a bit more tidy?
It's a shame he died. He was such an awesome power drummer, who created that led zeppelin unique sound. especially those big kick drums
Typically British understatement that his headstone doesn’t mention that he was a drummer, let alone one of the best drummers in one of the best bands.
knew a bloke from dudley[brum]who worked as a joiner with us on site ..old school drinker he worked with the bonhams round the redditch cannock sites...tough lot...irish decendancy[dare i say it travellers]

That's interesting. Robert Plant is descended from Romanichal Travellers on his mother's side. He and John Bonham were very close friends. I think Bonham was the person Robert Plant was closest to in Led Zeppelin. Years later he would still get emotional when people asked him about John Bonham's death.
Yes l say the same thing that grave should be looking big time best drummer every RIP John
The man who thundered across deserts in Achilles Last Stand, processed through Kashmir, burst in like sunshine in Your Time is Gonna Come and hung threads of silver through In the Light......all of that and he summoned marching angels to battle with Page's devil for Plant's soul In My Time of Dying.
❤ 🙏 ❤ Per sempre
Solemn. Whoever shot the footage thank you for not speaking.
Heaviest drum sound ever ? Right before "If it keeps on rainin'....", YEAH THAT ! !
Mr. Bonam, you'd be so proud of your Son, Jason beats those skins like you did. We'll all meet someday. And it will be a fine day indeed.
Glad there is a place to pay respects even though his remains have long since been cremated.
I always wanted to do this. I'm surprised there's not a snare drum or a hi-hat with a tambourine on it and a bass drum pedal.
What a sad sight, I can't believe it's in such a state.
Would bring my very best sticks to honor him...

we've done four already but now we're steady, and then they went one, two, three, four I can hear the oceans roar, play free, play for me, and play a whole lot more! singing about the good things and the sun that lights our way, I used to sing on the mountains, has the ocean lost its way...HAMMER of the GODS!
Thinking about Led Zepplin IV the figure holding the lantern was like JHB shinning the light to show drummers the way..
September 25, 1980 he’s been gone 40 years. My god what a talent.
I knew that there would be drum sticks all about the stone.
This almost made me cry

Only 32...what a shame..regardless if he was famous or not
He quit drinking slightly too late.
His son should overlook the maintenance of last resting place. It is sad to see it's kept such manner. Greatest rock drummer ever.
That looks terrible for such a legend Randy Rhoads has a beautiful Mausoleum I can't believe John Bonham's looks that way
Visited the grave about 4 years ago,so sad
Thanks
When giants walked the earth...
God called John back home early.. He did not want man to have two Gods.. ( Heaven is not as quiet as it used to be ) I bought a drum kit 1970 because of the Beast.. Rest easy my Brother
Always so sad to see his grave. Just saddens me for his family. I could be selfish and say "saddens me cause all the music left behind" but that is selfishness. He was a man, a father, husband, brother etc.
Only thirty-two. "All drumming is about timing. like comedy, a split second too late or too early and you go from gold to lead." - brian padrick drake
He was truly one of the greatest. I think his grave could have symbolized what John was about. Check out hendrixs grave.
I can't believe how unkept it is . That's very sad indeed.
Greatest ever
When it went to the writing I got goose bumps
All of us are a spec in time 40 yrs is nothing.Someone needs to cleanup this grave site in the UK.
Sep 25 1980 - greatest loss in music history
❤
John Bonham, a mans life taken so suddenly. If he was still here there would be drummers everywhere !!!! Its beat, we can not change the inevitable !!!! TopJimmy
