Amersfoort is really underestimated in the Netherlands, however this city has many old things with stil city walls. I lived there and if you come from abroad, just go by train and walk to the center in 15 min. Enough cosey restaurants, for example: O sole mio Pizza or sitting on a open square with terraces and a big church behind etc etc. It's totally different from the big city's, although in my opinion Amersfoort and Utrecht has similar style in some ways. My friend Leo sent me this video. Happy Birthday Leo. He lives in Amersfoort and took me & my daughter around to see everything when we went to Amsterdam a couple years ago. I love that town.

I used to see Amersfoort years ago... incrediblly beautiful and peaceful town

I live in New Zealand now but come to this channel among others to see my home country. Although nature is beautiful here, i do miss the old dutch architecture etc. Thanks for making these movies.

I'm just curious, in the video I noticed someone disinfecting his hands before walking into a shop but I don't see anyone walking with a mask on. I know the Netherlands has been hit quite badly by the Coronavirus, so how come they're not enforcing masks?
