In 1911 the railway from Gawler to Angaston was officially opened. Running Passengers and freight up through the Barossa Valley. The line was officially closed in 2014, and lay unused till later 2023 when one idiot decided to walkalong the full length.

    Fantastic idea to do the walk. It's a little daunting to hear you say you've had minimal preparation for a 40km hike. None-the-less I look forward to seeing how it goes. Well done on the idea and the 3 part docu-series.
