I always look at weather channel, but I don't get much jobs to scheduled 10 days ahead, that was the one). I couldn't see forecast that far and then it was showing all day, its Socal - showing all day. our climate doesn't give a crap, just showing me " will rain when you are on the roof" )0

nice video,i had r22 condensers, for over 20 years no solenoid,230 v contactor ,20 dollar timer adjustable,fan cycling 1/3 the cost of equipment and more efficient,hbp with trap.for pump down you only need the low side,you can install solenoid behind evap.ventilate cooler burning r22 is toxic.you can charge it from inside access port,check s/h.service wrench, use gloves when disconecting gauges,go young blood,you are tough.

Thank Mario! I realized that at times when this coolers where set up with no thermostat (pump down) health department regulations were different. Nowdays I see they will not even satisfy with product being at 42F, before 45-47F were fine, so those swings of temps where fine back days, now we cant get away with it and its a big benefit to be able to dial t-stat vs pressure switch. I've never seen a condenser like that on refrigeration. It looks like a condenser one would see on an A/C system.

Great video. An opinion. Think one of those electronic thermostats with built in defrost would have been good for this one to prevent any possible ice ups.

Thanks. Yep, that would be great to have K2 t-stat on it, unfortunately didnt think of it when was picking up Parts🤞

@@MaratRPMSoCal we usually use this one A421ABD-02C works the same as the ke2.

Marat , mate , you need to purge your hoses before you do a pump down so you don't get air and humidity sucked into the system from your manifold innit .

Only issue on this void is not Purging with nitroben while brazing and not removing boxes while brazing could cause fire hazard
