Had my surgeon and medical team heard this song, it would have been going through their heads... I had emergency surgery when my gall bladder basically exploded due to "not the largest gall stone in a human, but in the top ten" and I had a negative reaction to the anesthetics and it took them a few hours to wake me up. But wake up I did and I was so grateful to the wonderful medical team, my surgeon and the nursing staff who cared for me. Thank you, to all of you for the work you do and the sacrifices you make, often for ungrateful people. May you all be blessed with joy and happiness.

As a retired anesthesiologist, I loved this and it was so dead (oops) on. PO2 42. My oh my, the patient's blue. Has anybody seen my vent? Big blue box, under locks Out there where we keep the stocks, Has anybody seen my vent? Oh, when you run into A patient who Is turning blue. Don't you wait to intubate, Just be sure you're not too late. Before the head Turns so dead Right there while you're by the bed. Has anybody seen my vent. I sang this on my You Tube channel about a year and a half ago. Just me in the driveway.

@JoeKersey
9 жыл бұрын
Gary Cozine I trained at Ohio State, finishing in June 1978 and was on faculty there as an Asst Prof until the new chairman came in and cleaned house. I practiced for 15 months in Fort Wayne, Indiana, doing adults and pediatrics, but primarily doing cardiac and vascular cases and all the ortho stuff from the car wrecks at night. I was able to return to Columbus, Ohio, at Grant Hospital and practiced there until March 1991, doing primarily oncology cases as well as anything else, of course when, having gotten tired of all the backstabbing and politicking, and having saved enough, I retired to my current life of reading history and theology and doing some traveling. I do maintain my CME and a full Ohio license. I loved being in a room doing a case, but I loathed all the ancillary nonsense.

+ROSE Kunz Patient's going down dubee-du down, down (3X) Waking up is hard to do... Don't take my tube away from me, I am trying to breathe, oh, can't you see?! Take it out and I'll turn blue, 'cause waking up is hard to do... I beg of you, please, give me one more try! I'm only 19 - much too young to die! I've put all my faith in you, 'cause waking up is hard to do... They say that waking up is hard to do - now I know, I know that it's true... Don't say that this is the end - instead of waking up I think my incisions opened up again! I am in such misery - feels like my eyes are taped and I can't see... If I wake, I'm going to sue, 'cause waking up is hard to do... They say that waking up is hard to do - now I know, I know that it's true... Don't say that this is the end - instead of waking up I think my incisions opened up again! Now I'm awake, I can breathe and see, my bladder's full and I got to pee... Now I think I'll throw up on you, 'cause waking up is hard to do... Patient's going down dubee-du down, down (3X) Waking up is hard to do... :)

I am a fellow CRNA and you make me proud! Keep up the good work.
I love this group. As a nurse, I appreciate the humor. I have watched these videos over & over again.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful video!!! I had to watch it twice and restrain myself from singing along! 😂. Wonderful wonderful! ❤️❤️❤️
Adding this to favorites to send to friends & family who may need to "go under"!
I think I would actually be far more comfortable going into surgery if one of these guys was my anesthesiologist. There's no rational reason to feel that way, I just do.

That was brilliant! Let's hear some more! You guys are a credit to your profession! Love, love, loved it!!
I woke up this morning thinking waking up is hard to do and thought of that song. I just did a Google search and found this gem. :) Funny and nicely done!

Joe Kersey NIce.... Where did you practice, Joe?

Hahahahahahaha this was amazing XD
I and all the ladies in my office absolutely loved this. I'm sure they're all very competent. Nice to see they have a sense of humor, too!
I LOVE IT. Just what we need during this pandemic.
Ever heard of this thing called "black humor?" Its something adults use to help them cope with the immense stress of their job.
Hilarious. :)

How utterly delightful! Thanks, Docs, for taking away the fear and awe we patients have about you!
Bravo!!! Whoever is married to any of these men is blessed indeed!!! Excellent!!
I love listening to these guys. They crack me up. Adding one more case on Saturday night, those long seconds waiting for the patient to buck and breathe on his own while you are holding your own breath and of course I love the final throwing up. Nailed it! I only wish they did more. Thanks guys for making it fun!
