@@kimwieczorek1879I used to think that and criticized her a little for being in anchor mode on her channel when she could have been enjoying life. Then she got new job and I realized she is enjoying life. She enjoys the work and it is a way to inform and help people at the same time. So kind of like a vocation as opposed to a perpetual vacation if she had just quit doing things to lay around and “enjoy life” 😂 I do love her daily life routine vlogs where she relaxes etc.

Wow, that is a lot of work getting ready but you have it all figured out and look beautiful. I used to get up at 4am on the week-ends I worked as a nurse. I would go to my parents home about 2 blocks away and get them breakfast and help Mom change clothes (she had dementia) before my 45 minute drive to work. It was always hard but fun, because Mom would always ask me if my scrubs were new (no) and that I looked nice. That made my day start out well! Good luck with back to work!

This 4h20 am wake-up routine is a big reminder of my 4h30 morning routine for over 30 years of my career as an exécutive assistant. My salary certainly did not match this effort..... Now retired for the past year, my alarm clock is OFF for good.

I worked until I was 73 years old and used to get up at 4 a.m. Monday through Friday. I would get home around 6 p.m. Please take care of yourself.

...Myself as well..... I have NO desire to get up before 7 A,M. ,unless absolutely necessary.... I have raised 3 Daughters, worked almost my entire Life, and I am enjoying n o t " having to get up " and DO SOMETHING on a schedule. Lol..( I'm now in my late 60's) .

I'm just only in my late 30s and I can't even function if I have to wake up before 8 lol I'm a SAHM with a 3yo son btw and I'm sooooo exhausted lol

That is a brutal schedule! For 10 years I got up at 4:30 to drive 90 minutes to my job at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After a 6 hour drive home in a flood, I told my husband please move me home to SC. Now the only time I get up at 4:30 is to catch a plane to Paris! Wishing you much success with your new job!!

Wow! You're a great multi-tasker! You put on a full face of make-up while you listen AND talk to multiple people! Impressive.

He goes out in the morning to do his business, and then I’m home by lunchtime, so there’s no need for someone to take care of him. It’s no different than somebody who works at 9 to 5 and owns a dog.

So inspiring - watching you live through so many life changes in the last few years, pushing through some tough times, doubt, the grieving process, etc. but coming out the other side. To those who seem to want to criticize this new chapter for Dominique - this a talented, VERY professional reporter who had the courage to go out in new directions, prove herself on her own - and has now chosen to go back to do something she is very good at. Why not?. Give her the credit she deserves! She's proven herself on her own, and is now going back to being part of a company. Besides, she just lost her mother and her son is away at college, I think being around a busy, interesting, new landscape full of people she understands will be exciting and interesting for her and a way to make new friends, colleagues and have even more new experiences. She's a big girl now - if this decision isn't the right one or she decides she's happier doing something else, she now knows she can make changes and thrive. AWESOME - GOOD LUCK!
