@@Cami-mh3gn old post but I’ll reply anyways. For starters, colorblindness has several different types that affect different colors in different ways. For me personally I tend to get blues and purples mixed up a lot, as well as some pinks and greys, and a large amount of grass looks yellowish brown and dead to me. Because everyone has different types and experiences, some folks might not even have any issues with the red yellow and green lights. However even if they did, it wouldn’t be too much of a problem because the lights have the same layout. Like red on top and green on bottom. If they see the top light on then they still know to stop. And there are varying degrees of colorblindness as well, so someone might see a really brown color while others just see a dull red when looking at the same red. Extreme colorblindness that heavily affects life like driving is very rare, even among colorblind people. Usually it just affects minor things like matching clothes or back in school drawing with crayons, but obviously I don’t mean to speak for everyone’s experiences so it might be totally different. Also if someone tells you they’re colorblind and you legitimately ask them what color your shirt is or whatever, it tells us quite a bit about you… Hope this helps at all, or just sits here collecting dust for years :)

This song is a gem. I get chocked up everytime I listen to it. It's a masterpiece. Brilliantly written and composed. For a moment I thought Sondheim could be behind this song, because it's on another level than the other, still beautiful songs in the musical. it's incredible.

hello everyone! it’s been over two years since i started uploading the waitress musical lyric videos on youtube. and i never thought the day would come, but two nights ago, i finally got the opportunity to fly to new york and see my first broadway show which is, you guessed it, waitress! i cried all throughout the show. seeing it live hit me emotionally. because i have loved this musical since sara bareilles’s “what’s inside” album. if i told the 15 year old girl from the philippines that she would get to see this show she loved so much on broadway, she wouldn’t have believed me. i just wanted to tell you guys that if you live near new york, please make the effort to see the show because it really is worth it. i have never been more in love with this musical. to those overseas broadway fans who feel hopeless, don’t worry. you will get to see it, but even if you don’t, you aren’t any less of a fan. may we all be so lucky ✨ - samantha p.s. yes i did stage door and meet the cast! pictures are on my instagram @mssammiller instagram.com/mssammiller

I also can relate because the sentiments were exactly what I felt before my I met my long distance boyfriend 6 years ago ( we are married now and living in the same state ) but it definitely reminds me of the fears and uncertainness I felt before he got off the plane!

I came here after listening to Colleen’s version. I like Colleen a lot but Kimiko’s voice is so much clearer, sweeter, and well-timed.

I usually hate the word "relatable" but this one... truly is relatable.

I imagine Lena De Spell in this song, and i am shocked that she is voiced by one of the greatest singers of all time, oh my, Kimiko Glenn is one of them and she is one of my favorites. Her voice can be humorous, beautiful, versatile, amazing and even made me cry with the flawless perfection it eclipses upon. The end parts are the best out of this song, i love it so much! I’ve never listened to this musical before now but this song is making me extremely uncomfortable with how relatable it is.

I saw this live tonight for the first time and had no idea what to expect, but on a musical level this may be the most powerful one I've ever seen. Which is weird, the title is horrible, but the characters and the music are brilliant. Brilliant. The nerdy guy who falls for Dawn likely steals the show in every performance, he's that funny :)

I sometimes decide to put on some music when I'm working. Well, putting the Waitress soundtrack is a terrible idea. I can't get any work done, because I need to sing-along every word of every song. I don't learn, because I do it every single time.
