So I did the research... The distance between Sherwood, Ohio and Seattle, Washington is 2,277 miles. That would take 34 hours to drive on a motor bike. Here is our first problem. Veronica doesn't own a motor bike. An average motor bike costs around $7000. She would need a refill of gas every 160 miles, so 15 refills in total. That would cost her $122.5 Next, she can't drive for 34 hours straight. An average cheap motel for one night is $43 She would also need at least 3 stops for food. Let's use a cheap fast food place, McDonald's. a Big Mac meal with fries and a drink would cost $6. Times that by 3 to get $18. Veronica also said that she wants to change her name. Lawyer fees are around $175 for a name change + a 1-2 week wait. Therefore, to change her name and ride up to Seattle, Veronica Sawyer would need $7358.69, a two week wait for a name change and a 34 hour drive. Turns out getting freaky was the better and much for affordable option.

First of all, props to you. But we must also keep in mind that this took place back in the 80s before all this inflammation shit really took off, so the price would be significantly cheaper. This song just made me realise how amazing the musical theatre genre of music is. Like you would never get something like this as a pop song on the radio. It's so full - has a small orchestra, the instrumentation is really unique and the voices are just so powerful.

here's my theory on how Veronica got JD's address: So she was really drunk, right, and she was thinking 'rIght, I nEEd A mOtOrbIkE tO gO tO sEAttlE' and then she's just wandering for a while. she sees JD's motorbike on the driveway of his house. she thinks 'OmG mOtOrbIkE' and tries to get on the motorbike. when she's on the motorbike, she is tall enough to see into JD's window. she then sees JD through the window getting ready for bed (in the live performance, you can see JD taking off his trench coat, etc.) and decides to use the motorbike to try and climb to the window. thank me later
