On her first day at work, a waitress serves an old man whom everyone hates. Despite all the harsh treatment he gives her, she shows him kindness and creates a deep bond with him. Over the next few months, she comes to find out that he’s a veteran and a widow, and that his only daughter never visits him. She feels sorry for him, and makes sure he knows he’s loved. He later rewards her kindness by giving her a $50,000 tip, his car, and a house, but when she receives his gifts, she bursts out crying tears of sorrow.

The young waitress made friend with the old Veteran, and he suddenly disappeared. The Veteran died. God Bless his soul. The Veteran left her some of his inheritance. God bless them all.
