If you are looking for a relaxing and scenic way to explore the beautiful coastline of South Maui, you will want to try the Wailea Beach Path. This is a paved and easy trail that stretches for about a mile and a half along the shoreline, passing by some of the most luxurious resorts and stunning beaches on the island.
Along the way, you’ll encounter several beach access points, where you can go for a swim or snorkel. Some of the beaches you will see are Polo Beach, Wailea Beach, and Ulua Beach, each with its own charm.The path is well-maintained and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, but be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat, as there is not much shade along the way.
You'll also see some cultural and historical sites on the path, such as an ancient Hawaiian fishpond and some stone ruins that tell the story of the native people who lived here before us. Please respect these sacred places and do not touch or enter them.
