Same, I'm so happy for them all! My thoughts, I do feel for the Chinese gymnats, such an epic fall from grace (and the podiums) but for some reason the coaches refuse to push vault difficulty. That said, I am happy to see countries on the podium besides Russia and China lol.

Aside from that moment, what I loved was the different times Cecile and Laurent were taking turns cheering her on while the other was keeping an eye out for what US was doing on floor. Also, I loved that one of the coaches from the French team went across (more like mid-way) and hugged Cecile afterwards, I suppose for the work she had put in with Melanie that translated to such a routine at such an important moment in time. • @verareis6806

They didn't, she's not over scored. Read the code, understand the code and spend as many hours studying and reviewing it as those judges do, then review this comment. The code is incredibly complex. Each panel has 9+1 judge off all different nationalities, none of them would favour a gymnast e detriment of their own country. They're also being evaluated and if they mess up they get called in and might get their brevets revoked or being stopped from judging internationally. The judges are under evaluation during the whole competition too.

@@aboutnol many people are saying that yet the majority of those people have never bothered to open and read the code. Jessica didn't make the code. If she's benefiting from it, it's because she and her technical team have extensive knowledge of the code and know how to use it in their favour. She's not being over scored, she has nearly perfect form in the air, does just enough elements so that she's not getting extra penalties for no reason and has great artistry, her only common faults are with the landings. Not everyone likes the same style, I don't personally enjoy her style, I much prefer Eythora's or even Ondine's for that matter, but that doesn't make Jessica a bad performer. If everyone was to enjoy hip hop, ballet would cease to exist. Also I'm truly curious, what exactly in the code do you believe she's benefiting from?
