Wading Clear Water for Wild Fish

Спорт

There is something special about wading through a clear stream and catching wild smallmouth bass without anyone in sight. Very peaceful and you get a feeling of wondering who else has caught these fish.

I love it that you can catch a five pound fish in your kayak, or a bluegill in a roadside ditch, and your level of excitement is the same. You’re a pure fisherman.

John have you considered talking to one of you bait sponsors and getting a creek fishing adventure tackle set to sell to your subscribers. It could have any of your tried baits that everyone has seen you fish with. Then you could use your dalton10 for a slight discount. I would buy one.

John: Tackle question. How long have you had your Stradic FM? I bought one a little over a month ago myself. I have 2 Stradic FL 1000HG's and got the new Stradic FM 1000HG for a new TFO ultra Lite Panfish II. It was a bit hard to turn the handle compared to my old ones. Like they used truck grease in it instead of reel grease. About ten trips in, I made a cast after moving spots and felt what I thought was a tiny brim hit. Leaned into it but nothing was there. Started reeling again and felt what I thought was a bunch of machine gun brim hits. Cast out again and the machine gun tics/taps started again right away. Figured out it was the reel, not fish! It was really bad! Returned the reel. For $200 it sure shouldn't have felt like that! Defective or Infinity drive issues? Let me know how yours works out. It already looks like the reel handle is turning a whole lot more freely than mine was. I may have just got a bad reel. I'll be very interested in how yours works out over the next year. Nice video by the way. Looked like a lot of fun. Blessings!

Maybe you tried and just didn’t show it but I’ve found that the actual white riled up water at the very top of the hole will often suck your bait down and get it deeper in the hole faster, which can trigger the bigger fish that tend to hang out at the upstream edge of the hole….

How do you always snag them right in the lip? Whenever I fish I'm always spending like 10 mins getting it out of their throat🤣
