Greatest mat technician ever. His ground work is the best ever. I would literally kill people to train under him.

i had all his instructional tapes growing up. i still think he is the greatest technician who has ever stepped foot on the mat.

Kind of need to separate NCAA from the Olympics. Going way back, we have to mention Dan Hodge, Yojiro Uetake and possibly Bill Koll for college best. Maybe even Vern Gagne. Then, we have PAT Smith, eh? It's hard not to rate Dan as the best and Wade second. With hundreds of schools having dropped Wrestling, what Cael achieved is not as great as it seems. The late, great Dave Schultz won one NCAA title but shone after college, to be sure.
