Great video! I noticed in many of the wade fishing segments that your boat was within a casts distance. I don't wade fish much so I'm curious, what does it gain you in those instances vs. fishing from the boat where you can presumably reach the same areas you were wade fishing? (NOT critiquing or being critical... just simply wanting to better understand the pros of wading in that scenario vs fishing from the boat where it's easier to manage your gear, stay dry, etc.).

I start fishing as soon as I get out the boat and if the fish are there then no need to move until they are not there anymore. I will usually move a few hundred yards away from my boat working my way out farther and farther until i find fish. Sometimes the fish are skittish of trolling motors so wade fishing is key. How does one know if they are skittish well one doesn’t you just have to keep trying different approaches til you find what works and sometimes nothing works. Thanks for the question🎣

I love the start to your video. So many people don’t get this. People die so often on the water in ways that could’ve been avoided with a life jacket or a kill switch.

Are you fishing the edges of bars/depth changes? Looks like you’re about 100 yards from the shoreline.

Way closer than that to the shoreline go pros are bad for judging distance. Yes fishing the deeper valleys in between sandbars.

Enjoyed the video. I subscribed. Man, you had some neighbors that wanted to fish your spot. It never fails when you finally find them so does your neighbors!

It’s a known spot for trout. I’m not one that gets upset when people fish near me. I was just making conversation for the camera. I’ve told other boats to pull up and fish next to me many times. Just don’t go over the area I’m casting in is all I ask.
