Brendel to me remains the ultimate interpreter of Mozart's piano concertos.
Alfred Brendel's performances of the Mozart piano concertos are the most exquisite gems, ranking as the finest I have heard.
The Gold Standard of all Mozart Piano Concerti recordings, no compare.
Niemand präsentiert diese göttliche Musik so wie Meister Brendel.

I totally agree. His performances of Mozart's piano concertos are peerless.
Divino amatissimo immenso mozart !!!!!!!!!
This is my tempo of music (adagio concert 23) and my understanding how the work should be performed. it is this interpretation of concerts for my soul. Thank you, Maestro
2nd and 3rd movimento are absolutely to die for
Seit über 30 Jahren liebe ich das Spiel Brendels. Ich kenne kein vergleichbares. Das Zusammenspiel mit N. Marriner ist ein Glücksfall.
Fantastic performance Maestro!
Truly sublime. And such a good reminder that one doesn't necessarily need to listen to the most recent renditions of classics such as this. In addition to this Brendel recording, I've also been very impressed by older Danial Barenboim recordings of Mozart's piano sonatas.

His Mozart is very much charming
Super! Thanks, Ria Brezova.
"Only as many (notes) as necessary, your Majesty." And every one of them heard here. Thanks for posting these invaluable recordings. Notes: This concerto, like its predecessor K482, uses clarinets instead of oboes. K491 uses both. Brendel plays Mozart's cadenzas, and adds some ornamentation in the Adagio (the only movement he ever wrote in F# minor).

Thank you very much for warm comment! I wish you all the best!
La mejor versión del último movimiento
Arguably among the top three or four best performances of this concerto together with Radu Lupu and Maria Joao Pires, and Mitsuko Uchida.

No.
Basterdised a classic .
I resent having to hear Branson flaunting his ego trip before I can hear some of the most beautiful music ever written screw those corporate capitalists
The transfer is a semitone high. Totally distorts the true tempo. Doesn’t anybody notice these things? Kinda basic.
