What's even more amazing is that his own transcriptions are equally exceptional! What an underrated musician!

С какой лёгкостью и спокойствием пианист играет сложнейшую фактуру! Фантастика! Браво!

No dramatic flaying around, Just sitting and communicating in the purest way possible between an artist and his public.

Spine Chilling, thrilling , stunning, breathtaking, what else can I say? I heard him recently play all of the transcendental études as a second half of a program in New York City and I really could not believe my ears. He tossed them off like they were play things with a combination of aggressivity and lyricism that is unparalleled. I could not decide whether to go home and practice for 48 hours straight, or never touch the piano again !

How fantastic. Do you know if they were professionally recorded or if they’re all available somewhere else?

Did he play all 12 etudes in this recital? If not, I‘m sure that this does not qualify…

Super human...I would think playing of this calibre is impossible unless I actually heard him do this concert. Technical difficulties don't concern this Great Artist, it's all about speaking through the music and let us 'in' to an intimate relationship to him and the music.
