Do you need their NAV package in order to see the map display on your virtual cockpit display? Or can you use apple maps and view it on the VCD?

To display on the virtual cockpit you must take Nav option from VW, google maps and apple maps only display on the infotainment screen only

In terms of the sound system that comes with the car, would you say it is good enough and you don't miss the one in the previous polo?

I'm always complaining about that bra, the beats system wasnt the best but it was way better, it had good bass and it was louder the one on the GTI is average and lacks bass its not that good

Does it have auto brake? That is automatically applies the brakes when stationary at traffic lights and with the engine running...

No it doesn’t, it only has auto brake when you parking and about to hit something (Manoeuvre Braking they call it)

Lol i bought this car because of this review but i feel like if the climatronic is switched off u feel air coming from the outside which weird,do u experience the same??

When its switched off the air will come in unless you press that button i mentioned which has an almost round arrow, that closes the vents outside from allowing outside air inside so even if the climatronic is off u must press that button if u dont want outside air

Yes but know that next year theres a Polo GTI face-lift coming out so this one might be old. Whether cash or installment its a matter of what you afford and think its better

First of all Congratulations on your new car, i hope you will enjoy it and take good care of it. To get the logos its a bit of a process, You must download all the logos of the radio stations you want Then put them in a flash or SD card Then you out the SD or Flash in the car from there you just save the radio preset then it will give you an option to use upload an icon the you navigate to the SD or Flash then locate the icon of that radio station then do the same process for all the other ones..... If you still struggle let me know i will record a quick Video of how to do it then upload it.

The total price R480 000 but now prices have went up so for a similar spec you will pay around R510 000

That motor cover looks cheap, in the advertised photos there is Vw logo and TSI engraved? What hapened ?

You are right, mine was changed so the one ordered to replace the stock one came without the logo

I had a minor road accident so it had to go for repairs and that took months because the accident happen hours before the first Lockdown
