VW golf no start no instrument cluster
Quick run through on a no start no instrument cluster. I find the terminal 15 relay not switching on when it's command on. The starter motor relay was however clicking when the key was held in the crank position

Thank you soooo much for this video! U saved me over $200 in just towing alone.
It’s all very well saying you have a VW golf no start no instrument cluster. But it would help if you said what mark it is. Not all golf’s have the same technical issue. Different mk different problem. Totally different instrument cluster. So if you can be more specific about the mark of the golf.along with the year
Very informative video thank you very much.
I suggest doing a capacitive discharge of the car battery before changing out parts. Disconnect both battery terminals, starting with the ground - (negative), connect both connection leads with a jumper wire for at 1 minute. Reconnect both battery terminals, hopefully that helps. That worked with my car!
Thank you 👍👏👏💪
Same symptoms but swapped relay with the other 470 and still nothing any ideas
What relay would it be for the same issue in a mk7 golf?
Some info on what model and year would be rather more helpful, however l enjoyed the video
I have this exact issue going on with no start instrument cluster going crazy. Erratically throwing codes. I did disconnect the battery. And it finally started. I was able to drive it home a 3 hour trip. Now that it’s in my garage it won’t start. Still throwing codes and warning lights, ABS, steering, oil pressure light (in red) . My friend said to take it to Oreilys and have them put it on the computer. The dealership said it would be $1800 for a new instrument cluster. Since it was to hard for them to trace down where the problem actually exist. Still left with a no start Gulf. With no money for repairs except maybe under $200. If anyone can help would be appreciated to get this car running . My friend said to buy a fuse tester and test all the fuses. Check the grounding .
