Carsten's MK1 got our attention at the Essen Motorshow with its H&R Rebound 80 and the 6.5 und 7x17 Ronal with the center of 8cm it was incredible! Some of you might have noticed that this car was well known years before...not? Well it was super clean with a rollcage and chrome all over, bucketseats and Schmidt TH-Line. Carsten has this Golf from 1983 since March 1994 and modified it back in the days. Today the KR engine with 45 weber got chrome and polished parts all over. 2017 the body was painted in the original LA5Y heliosblau with a high solid clear coat by his friend Andre. To complete the brandnew look the car finaly got his original interior into for the oem look.
For 2018 he got a little update for the Tuning World Bodensee 2018 event with some 4cm Lüfter in the Pirelli Design we can show today...

Everyone has their own taste and opinions on what looks good. I personally would have the tires and wheels flush with the wheel arches. But that is what i would have. He sees those wheels and think to himself "yeah i love that" amd he should cause its his car. I think that looks awesome, especially because i never even thought about doing it that way. The car is beautiful and i am happy you made it how you see fit.

Sehr teure Felgen die mir aber überhaupt nicht gefallen, also die ersten, das Auto ist ein Traum, dicken Daumen nach oben, bitte mehr davon.

Great Videography here. I love the P-slot. I would countersink the centers a little more with a wonder barrel though. Great build.

Die meisten die hier hässliche Räder kommentieren sind die die am Ende die gleichen einheitsbrei bbs Felgen rauf Schrauben würden. Find den Golf gut gelungen und Scheibenräder erinnern mich immer an Rallye was bei der Form vom alten Golf durchaus passt. Function before Form wenn hier auch ein wenig übertrieben wurde, aber warum sollen Felgen nicht auch mal convex sein statt immer nur concave

Die Felgen machen alles Kaputt! Wollte direkt das Video beenden als ich das gesehen habe... Ansonsten tip-top Arbeit!
Damn sweet car, would be even better with some wider tires and inner barrels because they look pretty damn dinky compared to the rest of the car
I don't think people understand the idea behind those rims. its maximum tuck on a zero lip rim with a hellaflush face. its cool... not many rims are made with face as thick as those. If the car has air ride in, he could possibly drop the arch on the lip of the face. that's how much clearance there is between the fender and wheel
Those rims are like giving the queen an eyebrow piercing. Just doesn't belong on a classic old darling like this car.
Personally I love the wheels. It all comes down to Taste. I think owner got it just right 🤗

The wheels aren't the actual rim itself its a cap over the real rims. I think BBS made some like it idk.
Diese Lüfter an den Felgen passen nicht zum Golf, die verunstalten es. Sonst ist das Auto Top.
