An icon in the history of Volkswagen.
Carmen's '81 Mk1 Golf GTI still has its original and very rare Ascot Grey paint and is in absolute mint condition. Combined with the 15" glass coated BBS RM wheels, the motorsport roll-cage, Sandtler Sponsor R bucket seats, Sandtler 5-point harness and a Sparco Racing steering-wheel, the looks of the car is complete. No carpets, no back-seats, no roofing, no ventilation, no power-steering, no NOTHING! This car is as pure as it gets.
Adding up to the great looks does a 2.0L 16 valve Mk3 GTI engine swap with single throttle-body conversion by Marco's Motorsport, boosting up the power to 194 HP. Getting up to speed means braking hard at some point, which is made possible with a Mk2 G60 brake-kit.
Trust me, this thing FLIES. And listen to that engine note. This Mk1 sounds and looks perfect from any angle.
A true hill-climb "Rennsemmel" as the Germans would call it.

@@lxapproduction I'm picking up a 82 mk1 diesel rabbit it's already got raceland coilovers on it aero wheels and euro bumpers and spoiler it's still a diesel 5 speed car but that's Ok because I'm going All out with it with A crazy horsepower engine build"

@@lxapproduction The Guy that I'm getting The car from has a complete g60 drivetrain and some O.G. Oz wheel's I'll grab That from him to keep from having to drive well below the speed limit with That standard 1.6 diesel engine until I build me a killer setup' although I can't complain about The 1.6 fuel economy I'll keep that off to the side and do a full rebuild on it and make it clean enough to sit near a near a warm fireplace LoL main focus I've always wanted to do is find myself a early Right hand drive single cluster dashboard setup and go RHD with it' I've always wanted to build a RHD mk1 golf with enough power in it to let's just say if I wanted to go to the store for a carton of eggs for breakfast 🥞 well by the time I get back home I might just have one good egg 🥚 to boil in the bunch LoL
