that duel with that Q5 was nice but it was evident that it did not exceed 200 while with the golf you did well 230 what an extraordinary car and the best in the segment for over 40 years I bought its sister A3 IV sportback 1.5 tfsi 150 hp and I got to 232 with accuracy and also silent

I drive a 2.0L mk7 Golf TDI in the USA - it will never see speeds like that. It's nice to know it could do that if pushed, though.

Same I've got a map on mine
So a huge performance upgrade than my 1.6 TDI 105HP. Although sometime i feel 1.6 is enough for a chassis like golf, the 2.0 is the better option.

I also have 1.6 TDI mk7 and it's honestly surprising how well it goes but yeah 2.0 TDI is way better and faster

I think the 1.6 TDI is completely enough and nice but I wished the manual variant had the 6 gear gearbox.

Golf 7 einfach ein schickes Auto😊. Würde ich immer noch jederzeit dem Golf 8 vorziehen. 2.0TDI zwar nicht der schnellste, aber wirtschaftlich für Vielfahrer nahezu alternativlos. Habe das Gefühl das der flotter geht, als mein ehemaliger Golf 5 GT TDI mit 170 PS von 2006. Lange her...

Oil and water temperature during this test ? I tryed this with my car , and i had oil temperature at 115* C Celsius degrees.
Hab so einen als Variant. Geht genauso - ca. 230 lt. Tacho. Eigentlich ist er schnell und dynamisch genug. Aber ich habe seit 2 Jahren, die ich dieses Auto habe, ab und zu immer noch das Gefühl, ein halbes Auto mit einem halben Motor zu fahren. Naja, ich bin auf ihn von einem Touareg V8 4.2 TDI umgestiegen - das war einfach eine ganz andere Liga. (Dort, lt. Tacho, 263 km/h geschafft...)
Steht im Fahrzeugschein nicht 201 Km/h ?
Weiß einer ab welchem modelen oder baujaren golf schon eine schildererkennung haben?

Sorry wenn ich das so sagen muss aber du kannst keinen Diesel schalten. Oberhalb von 4k ist Schluss. Alles was über 4000 ist, ist nur mutwillige Zerstörung des Motors und da ist Diesel eher langsamer, als wenn du schon in nächsten Gang wärst.

Hast recht. Aber unterhalb 4.000 kannst du ja die top speed nicht erreichen. Wie meinst du das dann mit der "mutwilligen Zerstörung"? Klar ist auch ein Diesel in der Lage, hohe Drehzahl zu halten. Das Drehmoment ist aber "schon weg" - deswegen habe ich dir Recht gegeben. Ein Diesel sollte zw. 2.500 und 3.500 gedreht werden - da geht er ab wie 'ne Rakete. Und 1.000 Umdrehumgen reichen völlig für jeden Gangwechsel, die Abstufung ist i.d.R. eher kürzer (500 bis 700 U/min). Von daher macht es einfach NULL SINN, ihn höher als 3.500 zu drehen. Nur die Höchstgeschwindigkeit kriegst du damit natürlich nicht hin.

Der Motor hat seine Leistung zwischen 3.000 und 4.000 Umdrehungen. Bis 4.000 Umdrehungen ist schon in Ordnung, vielleicht auch 300 mehr, dann sollte es zumindest reichen ;-)

Gtd has shorter gears. Its much more sporty, but wears clutch quicker and drinks more fuel. Plus the chassis is too stiff on GTD they say...

Die maximale Leistung ist bei 3500-4000, warum schalten wenn man im perfekten Bereich ist? Lieber bei kurz nach 4000, um möglichst zwischen 3500 und 4000 zu bleiben. Das sollte doch mit ein bisschen nachdenken offensichtlich sein

Ich fahre den mit Stage 1 198PS und 477NM das Teil rennt wie Donner bis 245 . Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht zu Serie

I’ve the 184 hp one aka the GTD, I’m always below 5,5l and if I’m driving at max 110 km/h and really carefully I can even get 4.6l

I have 7,3 in average. But it runs 200+ km/h every day on the way to my work. (On the back way usually 120 with cruise control. Plus city mode, of course)

I have driven a Passat with the 150hp and 2L tdi with DSG, had less than 6L with 150kmh driving the whole time.

@@sanybalkanaciairsoft3253 150 km/h and 6 Liters in Passat is possible. But not "the whole time". I drive 600 km in Germany with MAX speed 150 km/h and a consumption of 5.6 l/100. But: the average speed was 120 km/h only (due to road reconstructions, traffic etc.) "150 the whole time" makes 6.5 liters minimum. Or: your boardcomputer lies 😉 Just count the real consumption at the gas station...

Meiner genauso a3 8p 2.0 tdi 140ps bj 2009 Rennt auch 220-230kmh, und der im video braucht ja ewig auf die Geschwindigkeit
