Many people including myself, do that if they don't want to be bothered by flashing their high beams to get them give way. A driver should see and realize if a car is coming and trying to overtake. if they still don't move and there is opening to the right lane with no cars or anything, people overtake on the right. Also, flashing high beams are kind annoying like it's saying "hey move over this side is mine, i own this road". Edit: i admit it's dangerous though, i advise people to not do that as it's kind of a blind spot for drivers.

@@Helder_Paulo my friend i live in Germany, there is a rule, and the rule says keep as much right as possible. If u overtake a car u go to the right. Its that simple. And if u look in his side mirror u can see there is some one behind him. So cleary u are blind ? And the in front of him speeds up. So u can easily go to the rightlane.

But at 150kph plus u cant go left right left right, at 200 thats almost impossible, u can do it if u dont have no one on the road. Ive drive in autobahn, not every german does what u say, in papel is the right way

@@Helder_Paulo nope, it's the law. Keep right, it's not that hard to obey. Driving over 150kmh doesn't set u free from that rule.

I'll tell you more... with this engine you need at least stage 1 to catch up with stock 2.0 TDI (CR), you won't be able to keep up with a healthy 2.0 TDI PD.

Alter, du bist doch nicht 100% bei Verstand. STOP auf der Beschleunigungsspur zur Autobahn!!!??? Wenn da einer mit flottem Tempo um die Kurve zirkelt, hängt er dir im Heck. Dann die Blockade auf der linken Spur gegenüber eines anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer! Von solchen Egoisten gibt es auf deutschen Autobahnen leider zu viel.

The Golf has a 5 Speed, I was really confused at driving school when i wanted to shift it into 6th. (I was driving a T Roc before wich had a 6 speed.) My Audi A3 has a 6 Speed with this engine. Btw A VW Tiguan with 2.0 TDI 190hp and 7 speed dsg has the same Ratio in top gear (Both 3000 RPM at 180kmh).

1.6 TDIs (this one) comes with 5 speed. 2.0 TDI and all but the entry level TSI also come with 6 speed. Only the smallest entry level petrol has 5 speed as well. Ironically though the 5th gear (0,63:1) on 5 speed is faster than 6th speed (0,72:1) on 6 speed (so 5 speed has more gear range) for some reason. Also all people I know which has VW/skoda with 6 speed (my father and friend) are skipping gears even when commuting in the city. But 6 speed does make car more agile across the range. I myself have 5 speed. 5 speed has less pull in over 120 km/h.
