That was already an upgrade chain? Garage done mine at 160000km they told me the first ones had 3 links. The modified ones 5 links.

chainspanner 60NM, top cover srews hand tight or 8 NM Great alu cover 5NM Hand tight, oilsump hand tight or 15 Nm ,chain rails 18 NM, center bold cam 50 NM plus 90° or 110Nm again, Srew Crank pulley 150Nm+ 180°

@@SaadSaleem-jx1cg by my car it was the double sealing of the oil filter (the man who changed the oil filter forgot to take out the old sealor didnt see :(

sorry this is not a good repair. you changed not the gear on the crankshaft that´s more importend for longer life for the chain is. I changed like you and after 70.000 km i changed all again but with gear on crankshaft. It´s more health for the engine

On some models it is not changeable. You would need a whole new crankshaft.

On 1.2 tsi its not changeble. Its part of crankshaft
