@@SantySaron tf u mean, the entire screen warps during hard cuts, and most animation is unable to be interpolated because it can't understand the motion. the only thing that works is when a character is moving linearly without any kind of complex motion. AI doesn't know what the arc of natural motion is, and it will be a while before it's able to make better results. These lazy "60 fps" videos are a cancer to the animation industry. AI will only improve with time, but there's no denying that this warped mess is anything but "smooth". Why is it so hard to enjoy the animation how it was animated? It's mostly 3D but they intentionally lowered the FPS for effect. If it was intended to be watched in 60 FPS they would've just animated it in 60 FPS, y'know?

About the different versions, the thing is that, apart from some changes in the visuals, for some reason in the last chapter of every "season" (not exactly seasons but i'm not gonna explain it right now) they add a bunch of sounds effects to match what's happening, so in my opinion it was pretty unnecessary to add those versions, the only openings with different versions are: -Opening 4 (2 versions, change of visuals at the end) -Opening 5 (2 versions, the second should have been an EDM version of the song but for some reason whoever uploaded it changed the audio, it also has a slight change in the visuals) -Opening 7 (2 or 3 versions, i'm not really sure, but the second is a huge change in the visuals and the song) -Opening 9 (3 versions, different visuals and some changes on the song) -Opening 10 (2 versions at the time, slightly different visuals)

Op 4 v3 has quite a few visual changes as well but they're not ones that reactors would notice. yes, the punching ghosts the characters summon are called stands, you are not a fool :3 and here's what different about say the third version of that one opening: during the season finales, the intro adds SOUND effects to the opening, so you hear sound effects for everything happening ALONGSIDE the music. that was the only difference there. (you also actually skipped a version of the 'breakdown' opening where the villain ACTUALLY fucks with the opening) Other changes in other openings include bringing in characters who appear later, or changing certian things to reflect later plot developments, or revealing details that were intentionally hidden before to avoid spoilers. the Openings are REALLY good at foreshadowing things without spoiling too much, ESPECIALLY "Chase".
@RenoDojima

I'd like to point out here that in the third version of the opening, there are additions to the segment where you see the characters turn into colorful silhouettes: -DIO appears at the top of the stairs -The World appears approaching Kakyoin -The World appears again, seeming reaching towards Old Joseph's heart -for a split second, Jotaro's finger on his right twitches, and another split second Star Platinum appears ready to deflect the barrage of knives
JoJo is a series that seems to get progressively more flamboyant as it progresses. Its actually quite good and the storyline all connects. Some people get bored on the first few episodes but beleive me It gets really good halfway through season 1 (or whrere it becomes "part 2")

Jojo part 6: Allow me to Introduce myself
The different versions of OPs are when the season's Big Bad reveals their full abilities, which are always insane and OP in a good way. You'll definitely understand more of what's going on in each opening once you watch the show. Just an FYI, the subs will be lying about the names of many of the characters in the first three seasons and the Stand names in the later seasons. That's because they're based on rock band and pop star names, so there were fears about copyright. You can find the real names online. And our leading lady in Part 6 is named Jolene Joestar. But yes, all the protagonists are from the Joestar family and their given names start with a "Jo." Each season follows a different generation or line of the Joestar family. I can neither confirm nor deny some of the heroic characters die in-season though. And yes, the Pillar Men theme absolutely slaps :D
One of the most bizarre and enjoyable anime series. You'll like it.
Just to point out, the original manga started in 1987 (yes, you read it right !) and it is currently in a hiatus before the FINAL season is going to come out. Every 'season' is literally self-contained and it follows a different member of the Joestar family (starting in 1880) who always takes the nickname 'JoJo' ('GioGio' in Part 5 because it's in Italy). Most anime and manga have been inspired by the innovations put by Hirohiko Araki in his work, specifically the Stands (spiritual manifestations of the fighter became common after Araki introduced them in Part 3, like Spirits in Shaman King or Nen in Hunter X Hunter) and the so-called 'tactical combat' (most combats in JoJo are not resolved by sheer strength but very often through clever strategies, it's the reason why lesser powerful fighters can win against overwhelming odds).

I am so glad you are getting on JoJo. Watched your react to Edgerunners. With your hyperfocus and appreciation for the art work, you are going to love JoJo. The author of the manga, Hirohiko Araki is a huge fan of rock n roll and fashion. Every scene, every pose, every facial expression is an art piece. Also, once you have seen JoJo, you will get the meme about JoJo references. It had an epic impact on anime. I watch some modern animes like "that's a jojo reference". Then i find out it is referencing some other anime, but that other anime was influenced by JoJo.
You need to watch the openings every episode. TRUST ME
8:58 Do you know what's a Persona (from the game series)? Yeah, that's inspired by JoJo's Sands (the anime is new...ish but the manga is really old, it's so old a lot of anime has something created by it, "Everything is a JoJo's reference" is not just a meme, like, it CREATED the Yandere archetype in part 4, and it's still going, we're getting part 9 soon, if it's no already out)
The difference between v2 and v3 of op4 is that in v3 there are moments when a new silhouette appears in several scenes back to back. There was also a moment where some punches were added for breaking the screen before one of the singers says "star platinum." Don't worry about it, it's only something you notice if you watch the op several times.

@@Aliciaxlife you seem pretty new to anime so I can’t wait for you to see all sorts of series not just jojo. I’m currently watching a chainsaw man vid of yours and wondering what else you might like to react to. Or just see in your own time like maybe dorohedoro?
time passes between seasons, like quite a lot of years. The main protagonist of the 1st season is the grandpa of the MC of the 2nd season, which in turn is the father of another season MC and the grandpa of 3rd season MC.... and so on. Also the author of the manga is a big fan of western music so most Stands and characters are named after bands and singers.
You're gonna love it, it's gonna be a very fun ride! Amazing reaction by the way
Took me a long time to watch the show, but eventually a friend convinced me to try it, and honestly I'm really glad I did.
Looking back, it's amazing to see Ant's and Alicia's powers manifesting for the first time! It took some time for them to become aware of it, but they're clearly doing some prediction already! Edit: Like what Ant says at 25:57! Perfectly describing both King Crimson and ADD in a single sentence
so basically the ghost things that are always beside the people are called stands (because the literally "stand" next to ther user". Their is a lot to uncover in jojo. A LOT.
The opening changes are usually associated with major plot reveals. It's interesting because unless you super overanalyze it you won't pick up on spoilers.
Jojo is divided in parts, each part follows a different family member of the joestar dynasty. The first part is in the 1800 and goes all the way to 2011 some characters appear in multiple parts
Without being spoilery, JoJo is divided into Parts. Each part has a new protagonist. The anime is currently on part 6

Bruh, the one reason everyone likes this one) Openings 8 and 9(+)(s5), part 5, it's 2004, the Main character is Giorno Giovanna (Jorno Jovanna ?) Mostly each OP is a season or Part that follows a different generation of the Joestar family, with some exceptions Part 1 / OP 1 follows Jonathan Joestar during early-to-late 1880s Part 2 / OP 2 follows Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's son, set in 1938 Part 3 is longer with OP 3 and 4 that follow Jotaro Kujo and his grandfather Joseph Joestar during 1987 Part 4 again longer with OP 5, 6 and 7 that follow Josuke Higashikata during 1999 Part 5 / OP 8-9 follow Giorno Giovanna in 2001 Part 6 / OP 10 follow Jolyne Cujoh in 2011 Each part takes palce in a different part of the world and has different themes like Murder Town Mistery, Mafia Drama, Vampire Invasion, etc, also fun fact, JOJO'S author once spoiled the ending of the Sixth Sense to his readers.

Anyone capable of having fun with (and most of all, making fun of) jojo's absolutely MUST watch it, it's such an experience. Some of the first 9 episodes I really disliked personally, but after the show embraces itself as less serious I had so much fun. I hope you enjoy it too.
Jojo fans calling Jojo gay: 😀 Non-Jojo fans calling Jojo gay: 💀
Help how come whoever made this playlist included two versions of crazy noisy bizarre town where the only difference was koichi’s stand but not any of the remixes 😭
ok so a nice explanation for the diferent versions. Version 2 is when the villains power is revealed and it starts to affect the opening. Version 3 includes sound effects such as the pendulum swinging. chains moving, punches, etc. This is usualy only shown in the very final episode of the season when you get the super colorful one the V2 includes the power/stand of the little guy with white hair. version 0.5 is explained when you reach the full version of the song as once again this song is "manipulated" by the power of the main villain. version 2 has the villains power corrupt the opening and changing how it goes. version 3 is the final opening of the season. It includes the sound effects I mentioned before along with a bit of an extra flare as its the heroes surpassing the villains ability
Jojo fan here, wanted to wait until the end of the video but I wanted to give some thoughts: 6:14 had me ROLLING. Without context those two sets of characters really do look the exact same 16:13 HELL YEAH BROTHER Part 4 has a very special place in my heart, I adore the feel of it the most. I think both of yall will like it a lot tbh, if yall ever watch it 21:10 yeah, some of these are kinda bullshit lol. its just a difference of explicit spoilers and you both know nothing about the show so it doesn’t really matter at this point in time. There was another comment here criticizing the playlist itself (not yalls choice to watch it) and I gotta second them. Overall though I’m glad its not dampening on yall’s experience of the OPs :] 31:40 I was legit expecting you to add an editor’s note at the end like “yeah lol guys it was this other unrelated song”… I genuinely was not expecting the Pillarmen Theme because you didn’t go ‘Ayayayay’ or hum the main melody LMFAO. I’m so happy the character arc was on screen and that you found it without too much sweat! For the record, it’s like, one of the most popular of the OSTs to rival the main opening songs in popularity. 35:11 OH SHIT I DIDNT CHECK THE DESCRIPTION. Absolutely excited for this too! Jojo is kinda fucking wild at certain points, but I assure y’all, it’s SO worth it. You’re going to find at least one part that you like the most, I hope yall like what you watch! (And like Alicia says, you may fuck with other parts more than others and that’s cool)

“I think the song is called Breakdown” I mean you’re wrong, but it’s still an acceptable answer
Watching this after you guys just finished part 3 is so funny, these were almost my reactions to the openings before I became a huge jojo fan.
Since you've been watching more "gory" animes lately i'd really like to recommend Dorohedoro if you haven't seen it yet, it's a really good and fun anime to watch
At first I thought Alicia might be thinking of "Yes" by Roundabout, which was the ED for the first couple of parts and was a big meme for a while - but her knowing only the Ancient Aztec Dubstep is way funnier tbh. (TBH it's kinda disappointing that they didn't bring Yes back for part 6 or 7 or something, but the other EDs we got instead were pretty good too I think.) I do hope you stick with JJBA. The first few parts can be kinda rough and unpolished (they're really old and show their age), but you can really see the author getting better at his craft and experimenting a lot which is kinda cool. Also, if anyone's planning on reading Part 5, I'd *highly* suggest watching it first/instead. Due to differences in medium, certain plot points that are near-incomprehensible in manga form are actually really simple when portrayed in animation, to the point that reading it before watching might actually leave you more confused than not reading it at all.

@@dracocrusher Honestly, when animated, the concept is actually super simple due to how time flows in cinematic language vs. sequential art. There are probably much better ways Araki could have portrayed the power (breaking standard paneling rules, leaving blank panels, House-of-Leaves-type stuff, etc.), but hindsight's 20/20 I guess. Iirc 5 was written in the late 1990's so there wasn't as much sequential art semiotics to draw upon. I can see a potential argument that, by being so easy-to-understand, the animated version makes the villain seem far less intimidating in a lot of ways - there's a lot more emotional impact when a protagonist is attacked by something that even an omniscient reader perspective can't really comprehend? idk. But yeah I do wish Araki managed to figure out a more readable way to portray certain fights in parts 5 and 6, especially considering how good he gets at it in 7. It's the flipside of constantly innovating and growing as an artist, I guess.

It is SO nice, to know about a reaction channel, and then said reaction channel starts watching jojo, i just love it, another excuse to watch the whole show again, im eating good today lets go
JoJo's is a globe-trotting, generation-spanning adventure and every season is very different from the last in style and substance.
I feel like this was kind of a rough playlist to be given tbh, AI frame tweening, tons of dispirate and non-essential versions.. Honestly I feel like versions should be left out entirely bc either they're non-essential (sfx, alternate remix) or spoilery (villain reveal). I'm glad you found your jojo riff, I would've guessed one of the popular ost songs like giorno or jotaro's theme :p
JoJo is just so ridiculously huge. Like, it's had impacts on a ton of different anime, but more than that, it's even had impacts on western properties. There's literally a really blatant JoJo reference in an episode of Paw Patrol, and probably several in Steven Universe (along with some other anime).
The difference between the 2 versions of op 5 is that Koichi(the child) gains a stand(Echo).
For me My favorites are openings 1 and 2, but I still love the Dio "Za Wardo" moment in 3B With Jojo's Bizarre Adventure you're not just following one character, you're following the Bloodline of Jojo's, so part 1 is Johnathan Jostar, part 2 is Joseph Jostar, and part 3 is Jotaro and so on.
Oh you'd LOVE Jojo's. It's my favorite anime!
