The thing with the variants is: most of the time each season, the protagonist don't know the power of the main villain. So when the power in question is revealed in the series, the OP also changes and the villain kind of invades the OP using theirs powers. Kind of a rough explanation but it's basically it, and that's why when you're watching JJBA you never skip the intro haha

The story is basically about a descendents from a particular bloodline going on a adventure and fighting their enemies. In total there are 8 parts of the manga (9 is ongoing), only parts 1-6 are adapted into an anime currently. Each part has a different cast of characters and story. Highly recommend you watch it, it's super unique and I love it!

The reason openings have different variants is because JoJo's fights are very unusual compared to other fights in shonen: it uses a lot of brainstorming just to get how main villain's power work. So, we usually get two variants: the one where we have no idea how the power works, and the one where we, as a viewer, already understand it.

She is Jolyne Cujoh, the protagonist of part 6, and the one you said was her boyfriend is her father Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist of part 3.

Jojo has some really unique stuff in comparison with other anime. Your cats were super cute going at it in the background lol. From a musical perspective, you may be rather interested in reacting to the Endings for Jojo.... and possibly the Main protagonist themes. Western music and pop culture is an intergral part of Jojo and it's definitely worth watching. Just a slight word of warning because us fans always forget; the show can be rather brutal. There will be graphic body horror, and it doesn't shy away from that stuff. It's both serious and over the top ridiculous but that's the charm. Once a fan, always a fan.

About the protagonists: There is one for every saga/ part of the story, always someone in the bloodline of the Joestar family since 1800's to date, driven by the sence of justice hereby from the first protagonist, JOnathan JOestar, every protagonist is nicknamed ''JoJo'' based in syllabes of their names. The one you liked is Jolyne Kujo, 29:26 you can even see the main line of protagonist together in that scene, all of them are relatives through generations. PS: The guy with hat is not her boyfriend, i will not spoil who he is but her bond with him is even more important.

Well this is just a whole big journey in general if you tried to watch everything. The weight of how every series connect to each others, as you want to experience Jolyne Kujo's story in a great way, you'll have to see part 1 and part 3 first, maybe even part 5 but 1 and 3 had infomations related to part 6, and part 5 is actually a really good story in of itself, and you'll get introduced more about stands that way, with other things as well. Good luck gettinh into it, I'll also bring myself to watch the series I like without holding back now, thanks to you liking Jojo characters without saying that they're weird or anything. Let's go and have a good Journey to remember in fiction, and enjoy the openings as well >:3

If you want to get a "taste" of what to expect from the series beyond the openings, I also reccomend listening to some character themes - Stardust Crusaders, Overdrive, Noble Pope, The Hand, Stand Activated, Evolution, Nella Cerniera, Stone Ocean, and naturally the infamous Il Vento D'Oro - all of them sound great, and often can tell you something about the character, and sometimes even about their abilities! Also glad you liked that one character with the bob cut and Jolyne, they're both awesome!

Well, JJBA is a multipart series chronicling the adventures of the Joestars and their descendants. Part one, late 1800s, Jojo 1 and his newly minted stepbrother feud over the family fortune, which turns into a vampire hunt. Part 2, close to WW2, Grandson of the first Jojo teams up with the German Reich of all organizations to save the world from creatures that eat vampires and are trying to become immortal and invincible gods(the vampire eating creatures, I mean). Part 3, 1980s, grandson's grandson starts developing a punchy ghost thing called a stand(along with other relatives) and has to go to Egypt in a set amount of time to kill the vampire from Part 1 to lift a deadly curse on his mom. And stands are now the main power system in this show now. In 1999, Part 4 goes to a specific city in Japan as the Jojo from Part 2 had been unfaithful on a business trip, leading to an illegitimate heir to find, make the main character, and discuss his share of the inheritance with. Meanwhile, there is a killer on the loose with a female hand fetish and has gotten away with it for over 18 years. Part 5, early 2000s, looks at the literal lovechild of the Jojo and vampire from Part 1(long story) as a teen in Italy who infiltrates a problematic, powerful, and fabulous gang called Passione to take down the boss, and make it so they no longer sell drugs. And Part 6 is the last part of this time line, where Part 3's Jojo has a teen daughter, who is framed for a hit and run to lure him their so that zealots who worshipped the Part 1 and 3 vampire as their Yaweh can have revenge and get him out of the way to plot a course for entering heaven as mortals. Oh yes, Jojo openings are some of the best ive seen, and the alternative variants are really epic This is my first time seeing this channel, and i would really like to see a reaction to Jujutsu Kaisen openings or Demon Slayer openings in the future if you haven't reacted to them already! The opening with the female cast is for part 6 of Jojo's, also known as Stone Ocean. The main character is Jolyne Kujo and she is the daughter of the protagonist Jotaro Kujo from part 3 Stardust Crusaders. She is very cool character with a very OP and extremely fun ability. She can basically turn herself into strings and the creativity with this ability is through the roof. To say that Part 6 has the coolest and the most unique fights of all thus far animated parts would be an understatement.

The last opening is just fire! Showing all the maincharacters of previous jojo's connecting together. FIRE! :D

The different variants typically come with the last couple episodes once the villain's power (and in the case of the funky clicky guy evolved power) is revealed. So it gives the opening a sort of ominous vibe/spin to the original we had and shows the scene to us from the perspective of the villain We essentially get to see the opening but instead of from the main characters perspective its in the perspective of the main villain. Another key thing to note about this series and the intros is that it loves to play with color. Anytime there is heavy emotion in the show, we get a pallete swap

Love seeing some JoJo representation. I've been a fan of the series for nearly 20 years, and it's easily my favorite piece of fiction of all time. Also, fun fact, the JoJo manga is longer than One Piece.

you should seriously consider watching the openings and endings of G-Witch , also known as the latest Gundam anime , be ready for ED 2 because this one slaps

What i love about this series more than anything is how it feels like it actually takes place in the proper time periods. Ever since part 3, the show has been contemporary but parts 1 and 2 took place long before the manga was written. The people at David Production made everything feel genuine for the time period, down to some of the smallest details. In parts 3 and onward they take place in the modern day at the time the manga was being written. You can really feel the attention to detail in this series!

I was the same i got this recomended from a friend as his favorite anime. And then i had openings on my youtube recomended page, listen to it and it hooked me in instantly

Okay,Part 1 and 2 of Jojo are buff englishmen use sun karate to fight the Aztec gods of Crossfit. Part 3 onward is everyone has a mysticalfight power and every fight is more tactical because you need to discover their power and how to work around it. The variants are a special thing for the final episode or two. Add some extra punch. Also, seeing you bouncing in your chair to the openings is adorable. I vibe with them too.

In simple terms, Jojo is about a a bloodline that just happens to be fated to fight evil. Many generations of people nicknamed JoJo take on various *Bizarre* threats to humanity. Supernatural and wacky events ensue. It is very stylish and flamboyant while doing so.

Question: Why does the series have so many varients of OPs? I don't know myself, but it's a nice twists that occur during points of the series.

Everything happening in each of these openings are clues to the mysteries that happen within the stories. If you pay close attention to every little detail, you see, you will unravel all the storylines that are being hidden behind the scenes.

I don't know a whole lot about the artists for any of the other OPs, but the first OP of Part 6 - so like, second or third from the end - is by the vocalist of a band called Kishida Kyoudan and the Akeboshi Rockets. Pretty sure it's not her whole band, but the style is definitely similar to what her band does. So you'll probably enjoy the rest of their music, too! They also did the OP for an extremely gory and extremely horny series called Highschool of the Dead, if you want another example of what their sound is like that's part of an anime OP.

I really like the JoJo Openings and now especially with me now knowing that Part 6 is the last Part before a supposed Reboot, the way the Second Version of Part 6’s Last Opening pays homage to the previous Parts hits so different now, not just with how it shows off the previous JoJos, but also how it ends in a similar way to how the First Overall JoJo Opening Ended, such nice touch. this is genuinely my favorite show so i highly recommend watching it. It's about family and friends having bizarre and incredible adventures for a variety of reasons and people.

Her name is Jolyne. She does actually have yellow and green hair but the creator of the anime did something special... sometimes the colors change for a while to make it even more epic. Useless fact: Jolyne is 17 in part 6

i think you should listen to the whole songs, there is A LOT that the short versions dont show, in essence, from the very first to the last season, the openings are about the anime, as weird as it sounds. op1 for example its about the clash of the 2 ''stars'' who start the whole story, jonathan and dio, and the destiny of their descendants, jojo(jonathan) has to fight it for his family, and dio have to fight it for his ambition, the songs tell the story of the season in a vague way You can go on with it, but the more you watch, the more you understand what the imagery on the opening and its lyrics means, its an unspoken rule that you never skip a jojo opening

I know you're probably not going to read this, but still; JoJo is a fantasy drama with intellectual fighting, that presents a funny and original yet serious and very well-written and thought-out story about a very old family dispute that sadly ended up affecting multiple generations of innocent people. Each "part" or "season" tells the story of a different member of the family, set in different places, eras and themes. Themes can range from vampires and justice (p1), aztec gods and perfection (p2), Soul and adventure (p3), murder and friendship (p4), crime and passion (p5), Injustice and time (p6). At least that's where the anime is at. The manga goes up to part 9 which is still being made. I personally find the best trait of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to be, above all, how it's a story that IS in fact "bizarre", weird, funny, strange, yet you will still take it very seriously. You may not believe it at first but JoJo can make you laugh so much as it can make you cry, and some plot moments will have you thinking for years. It can break your heart in very unique ways other than just killing a character and stuff. I absolutely recommend it.

Variants in short it's kinda depend on "what happen on the story at that time", which "specific changes usually show when "main enemy appears". I'm sure many music ppl really love many Jojo music, including character's theme. We can tell you, the anime overall is really "bizarre". ps. talk about cosplay. No, absolutely not the "physical" on character, trust me many ppl cosplay cuz they love "those characteristic" and we're really into it when we cosplay into any of them xDD

I totally love your excitement with the openings

Jojo's is battle shounen meets Persona meets Junji Ito, one generation or family line at a time, and there's always something about Italy in it.

Btw there is also a huge a mount of musical references in the names of characters, powers and sometimes even places, to the point they are censored (Santana being localized as Santviento for example) so whenever a name is mentioned listen to what they say in Japanese

There are two anime that I always watch reaction for because of amazing story, amazing music and the visuals is Jojo's Bizarre Adventures and Vinland Saga. For Vinland Saga, I would recommend listening to both Openings and Endings because my god, the endings are top tier as well.

The reason for the different variants are for each Joestar and the part of the story they're in, I'll leave you to watch and see when each intro changes. The order: Johnathan Joestar (Opening 1); His part is set in the early-to-late 1880s Joseph Joestar (Opening 2); His part is set in 1938-39 and he returns for Jotaro's part. Jotaro Kujo (Openings 3-5); His part is set in 1989, he comes back for Josuke and Jolyne's part. Josuke Higashikata (Openings 6-10); As the opening stats his part is set in 1999. Giorno Giovanna (Openings 11- 14); His part takes place in 2001 in Italy. Jolyne Cujoh ( Openings 15 - 17) Her part takes place in 2011. Speaking of Jolyne (the one you liked so much) she's a bad ass woman, considered a delinquent as well, she's the daughter of Jotaro Kujo (last name changed cause Jolyne doesnt care for her father Jotaro much). Anyways, she's in jail for [SPOILER], and she has to [SPOILER]. Yeah, that's really all the info I can give without spoilers. Each one of the characters (and I mean EVERY) names and stands (the ghosty guys in openings 3-17) are based on musical references, for example, Josuke's stand is Crazy Diamond which is a reference to Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd.

I like how you progress through the opening. Initially you only listen to the music. As the opening progress you started to see the visual as the story. Trust me you will not regret watching it. And please make a reaction also for that 😁

0:53 the JoJo's anime is only a little over ten years old, with the newest part being two years old in December. Which, yeah, a pretty long time to have been going on, but also the manga is thirty-seven years old. The reason why it wasn't adapted for so long was because it was viewed as 'impossible to adapt' and thus only a few specials were released (and a movie that's lost media, but that's neither here nor there)

Pretty much each part has its own Jojo and follows their respective Journey in each Generation, Starting from the First: Jonathan, to the last currently adapted: Jolyne Also: Starting from Part 3 and onwards, each part has multiple variants and openings for the different Arcs and Reveals, the show also likes to flip-flop the colors to show different emotions

Different variants are because of some villains getting exposed and their power getting in action. So in 4th opening variant 2 was dio with his stand the world where he stopped time. And someof are when main character evolves his ability. You should watch anime 100% sure

Jojo part 6 with Jolyne was one of the most painful but well done series of recent years. Most painful since David production partnered up with netflix and decided to release the anime in 3 parts.But the upside of that was that we essentialy got the entire parts in 1 day.

The manga started all the way back in the 80s and continued as a lineage kind of series, from one ancestor to another, and even now Araki has recently published a new Part of Jojo called Jojolands

The last main character you have started liking so much is JoJo, and she goes on a Bizarre Adventure. (She's the final main character of the story)

a few early jjba spoilers, without context: 1. Speedwagon is the most important protagonist in the entire series 2. Boatmonkey 3. the comic book's predictions always come true no matter how long it takes 4. DIO was in the opening the entire time

A brief summary of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: a tale of a family curse lasting centuries that takes a man and his descendants from Dracula to the end of the universe. No, it does not get simpler than that.

Part 1 : Set in 1880’s. A gentleman’s heir learning to use breathing technique to fights against an adopted son of his father which is turns out to be a bastard and something sinister. Part 2 : 50 years after part 1. A cunning protagonist and his charismatic friend fight against 3 jacked up ancient dudes Part 3 : The year is 1987. A badass high schooler found out he must end a vampiric bastard with the brand new supernatural power, the Stand. To achieve that he must take a trip to Egypt with a team of Stand users. Part 4 : Setting in 1999. A badass grown-up guy comes to a peacefully small town to finding another badass high schooler which turns out to be a son of a cunning old dude. Also they must fights against a serial killer / stand user. Part 5 : Italy, 001. Son of a bastard who got gold hair got involved with a mafia member and willingly to change the town into better place by team up with mafia’s betrayers. Part 6 : A girl you love, Cujoh Jolyne (inspired the name from Dolly Parton’s song “Jolene”) accused to be a murderer for killed a man in car accident and must be a prisoner at Green Dolphin Street Prison. Turns out it’s a plan for revenge of a dude who once seduced by a vampire bastard.

Nice touch with the faux cherry blossoms on the mic stand. I'm with you on Jolyne. I don't see myself every having a kid. but if I have a daughter that would be her name. full stop.

The thing about Jojo's is that the Manga is known by many Magazines, Author's, Animation Studios etc. and it got it's Anime very late (a proper Anime)! So in other words JoJo's has street cred all across the board and that's why it gets this special treatment with different Op variations!

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is A multi generational story following the Joestar bloodline through the centuries as they fight evil through the determination of unwaivering justice, as they are the only ones, chosen by fate to defeat these forces. The variants come during the climax of the different seasons, where the villain's power is revealed and they invade the opening theme of the show. Your girl is Jolyne Kujo, daughter of Jotaro Kujo (he is pretty much the face of the series) And also my favorite character in the show. Fun fact: It is called "Jojo's" Bizarre Adventure, as every member of the Joestar Bloodline we follow each season has two "Jo" somewhere in their name, and often get the nickname "Jojo" by their friends and allies.
