VStar 650 Clutch Replacement. XVS650
Ойын-сауық
I fit the Barnett heavy-duty clutch kit into my 2013 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom.
You can use the video for reference when replacing your clutch.

Nice & easy, Thanks!
Take the dowel pins out of the cover and put them back into the engine case then put the gasket on the pins to locate it, far easier to put together correctly with the gasket on the case. Also, it appears you have a neutral switch leak since there was a drop of oil hanging there off the housing when you went to remove the oil drain plug.

Thanks for the tips mate. Thanks for watching and supporting the Channel.
One plate should be thicker, and that one will be your base plate then friction then plate so on and so on, as one plate is thicker then the other six, for all the beginner out there.
Very helpful thankyou

Thanks for watching and supporting the Channel.
thank you for showing how. this is the same work i need done on mine . do you have a video for graby front brake ?
I hope you see this a year later. How tight do the spring bolts need to be?
Hey mate, I have a question about the heavy duty clutch, does the heavy duty clutch increase the friction zone? I just got my VStar and I really hate the small zone and I’m trying to find some info on how to increase the zone.
Do you feel more power with hypercharger from Kuryakin? It is just plug and play or it is much more complicated to install?

Have to take fuel tank and carby out. There’s a few vids on it. Good one to watch was a guy with a muppet beanie
Are all clutch the same? I have a 2013 XVS650A classic but I don’t know the part number you used for this heavy duty clutch on your bike , can you help me on this please

As far as I know, the classic and custom have the same internals.
I didn't see you soak your clutch plates in primary oil. I thought you should always soak them for 10 minutes if installing into a wet clutch system
