I was there, it was a magical concert. Love, love, love Windir \../ Felt so proud to be a Norwegian that night

To all the people complaining about the vocals.. i doubt Vegard really does those kind of vocals/singing anymore. He did it really well on the memorial concert back in 2004.. But this show is like 10 years later, so its kinda no surprise the vocals are not as good as then. Still pretty decent considering all of that. :)

I really love the effort and tbh he does well, as a vocalist i can Say that staying Just Only a week without praticing literally Kills you. This guy Is on his forties or Is even older and still keeps It up Only for us to enjoy windir songs live.

incredible voice of Dolk from kampfar it should be all with windir songs

This was painful to watch, what is up with Vegard? He kicked ass in the last Windir show.. At least Kampfar's singer did great! Shame that Sture couldn't attend :/

He has significantly improved since this show in 2014 though. And yes, I've seen him perform better at other shows in the past as well. go watch Vreid's latest stream (in the mountains of sognametal) available on their channel. His vocals were much better there.

I can't hear anything wrong with the vocals.

He's Valfar brother, and as far as I'm aware not actually a vocalist. But he does the vocals for any Windir songs that are played, I assume out of respect for Valfar rather than having another vocalist cover his songs.

I believe he learned to do vocals for the farewell show they did for Valfar when he passed away. But yeah I dont think hes an actual vocalist (as far as one who sings in a band)

Fantastic...if Vegard sounded like on the last Windir show....now, it was a bit painful to watch, as somebody wrote. I hear vocal coatches talking about how important it is to sing those things right...but this felt so forced and unhealthy

I think the growl technique would be acceptable, except that it really seems like he's just opening and closing his mouth without saying actual words, and definitely without any emotion. He even started the vocals late for Journey to the End. I respect that he wants to (or other people want him to) carry on Valfar's legacy, but it feels like a disservice if he's going to continue to perform the songs without being prepared.

The vocals are good they're just old goblin style now for he is now old goblin

I believe he learned (for the lack of a better term) to do vocals for his farewell show, just to pay respect. Check that concert out, his vocals are alot different. But it's mainly to pay respect to his fallen brother
