Not a bad video at all! Though for most newbies like myself, going over optimization could've been a big help.

Thanks for the input! Optimization can get pretty technical and for this example the two biggest impact would be reducing the skinned meshes and material slots. In order to change these I would use Blender the 3d modeling program, Blender has a pretty steep learning curve and just the basics of blender deserved a single video in itself, so I decided to leave it out for the sake of a short video. But maybe I will make a video on optimization in the future!

This is a new one, I haven't heard of this problem yet. I have 2 recommendations. Reinstall the latest SDK, sometimes weird stuff can happen with the SDK and just reinstalling it can fix it. The other recommendations is to double check your android build support in your project, With the project open, go to File> Build Settings> Android. In the bottom right of this screen there will be a "Switch Platform" button. The only reason why this button would be greyed out and unclickable is if the android build wasn't installed. At this screen if it wasn't installed there will be an "Install with Unity Hub" button. Good Luck!

@@ZorgyBabyVR heh sorry I sorta figured out that I had to restart the intended build to android, I am having an equally frustrating problem of the avatar not being android supported

@@adill5160 Good luck! shaders and dynamic bones are the typical culprits.

    I can't edit material shaders

There may not be an actual material in project that has been assigned to the model. Find the material in your project folder and drag it on your model in the scene and check if you can edit the shader.

What file do you mean? When you upload the avatar to the VRC servers you wont be given a file, it will just upload directly to the servers.

    How from windows to android

You need to switch the unity build from windows to android. In the VRChat control panel under the builder tab there will be a button called "Switch build target to Android" if it is says "Switch build target to Windows" then you are already in the Android build.

Under the avatar descriptor there will be a lipsync section. Depending on your avatar you may have Visemes (more common) or a jaw flap bone. the if you are lucky the avatar will have already come with pre-built visemes, otherwise you would have to add them yourself with a 3d modeler like blender (pretty advanced). Most common mode is Viseme Blend Shape. Add which ever mesh in the avatar has the face in it to the "Face Mesh" category and if the visemes already exists it will self populate.
