Laura always makes her characters hot haha. Jester is hot in a different manner, but in that campaign she made sure her character mom was the hottest character in the whole city! I'm wondering if that's part of why Marisha made Bunnie in Daggerheart, cause wow, she went all out there. Part Fearne part Vex, part...Scanlan?? lol idk.

Fince is blue cause he’s a drow (dark elf), Grog is grey cause he’s a Goliath (half-giant). However because of lighting (particularly how lighting is portrayed in animation) they can look like the opposite colour.

5:30 Titmouse never told Matt that all the guards he voiced were also going to look like him... He found out after it was done. Glad to see you pick up on the mirror in the hall, I've seen quite a few people miss that. Simon the Belt Snake getting an eye patch is another fun one, most of the team have a connection to Metal Gear. Really great episode that comes as an almost perfect recreation of the associated tabletop episode, it was really the turning point from when the campaign when from casual adventures here and there into a much more serious tone, even if Matt never expected them to fight the Briarwood, lol.

Nicole 10000000% agree, Percy is 🥵🥵🥵 and there is a long line of people that want the chance to change him lol I love seeing more people reacting to LOVM. Icant wait for s3 and for them to announce the release for Mighty Nein too!

This is when the show kicked into high gear for me, it just keeps getting better. It gets more serious, but they NEVER let the jokes take a backseat and I appreciate that, cause most D&D is bouncing between those two side.

I also am a sucker for a tragic past. (And really, it's a trope for a reason, what healthy person goes hunting dragons with bunch of weirdoes? (fond)) Don't worry, everyone loves Percy. He's ...kind of terrible, a little bit sheltered (yes really. Trauma aside, he's very young, and went from a life of privilege to...all of that, with not much in between), and SO damaged, so of course a good portion of the fandom loved him immediately. :p We can fix him. Vax failed more than one persuasion check before he managed to escape out the window. By the time the rest of the party arrived, he was rolling death saves, and had said his "final thoughts" it was very close, only some lucky rolls got them there on time. I love this episode a lot. They weren't really meant/expected to fight he Briarwoods that evening, but Vax splitting off and getting trapped on his own meant that everyone else had to jump in as well, Matt had to think fast to make it all work, and it turned into a fantastic, memorable episode. Condensed a lot, of course, and some of the details changed, but it still feels the same. The sword absorbs blood and gets bigger. The jokes write themselves. The whole time you were feeling sorry for Desmond I was thinking "Oh, just wait, his day is about to get SO much worse." He was almost safer with the Briarwoods than Percy. But you have to admit, that Murder Walk while Percy reloads is a whole vibe. You're right, clearly he just needs a hobby, watercolour painting perhaps, or crochet. 🤣 A lot of campaign 1 could be subtitled "This could have been avoided if therapy existed in Exandria".

This was great to watch with my morning coffee, Yes Zack s2 is redonkulous, but lets get the trauma of s1 out of the way first before we get to that:) As to S3, yeah we can certainly hope ♥

Nobody kills Vax but me will always hit me so hard.

I wish the guy would be a little quieter and let the female react in the moment since she is the person who hasn’t seen the show yet. I liked the discussion after the episode.

Percy is my least favorite of Vox Machina, but damn this is a good arc for him.

Yeah he kinda meh for me but agree his arc was great . Scanlan happened to become my fav especially in season 2
