Vorn EV45 hunting backpack with rifle quick release

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Fieldsports Channel's Jason Doyle is often stalking in demanding terrain, such as the Wicklow Mountains in his native Ireland. "I've used Vorn backpacks for a number of years now, and the comfort with them really is second to none for somebody like me who does quite a bit of hill stalking," Jason says. "These new models from Vorn have the familiar rifle quick release system; the difference is that these new ones have a rigid, external frame. That gives the backpack a much stronger chassis, and you really feel the benefit of that if you're carrying a lot of weight."

Just back from a shooting trip in Scotland where we stalked for one of the days. My friend had a Vorn pack and it was the first time I had seen one. A fantastic bit of kit, which was amazingly easy to load and carry and which allowed really fast and importantly, very quiet access to his rifle at the point it was needed. Great design, by folk who clearly know exactly what they are doing!! Maybe not the cheapest, but quality kit, designed by people who stalk long days in tough terrain and conditions. Save up and buy one!

Where's the best place to shop for this online in the US? With US dollar pricing?

Unfortunately there are no US dealers on their website. I tried the Canadian dealers but none of them ship to the US. Ended up buying from Grahams in the UK but there's an additional shipping charge for delivery to America.

Weight distribution problem because the rifle is not stored in the center of the bag pack. The rifle is going to pull the whole bag pack to one end.

Hi! Thank you for your honest opinion. All of the heavy parts of a firearm are centered in the backpack. Together with the rigid EV frame, there will be no weight diatribution problems😁

Rifle access only good for right hand shooter and seen they were asked about changing it to suit everyone they went ahead with new design and kept what was working before not impressed

We do not make bags specifically for left-handed shooters, but it is just as easy for left-handers to use our backpacks as it is for right-handers. Simply pull the release handle with the left hand, take out the weapon with the right hand. The difference is negligible, though for a left-hander the initial grip before you have the weapon ready will be slightly smaller. If the handle on the shoulder strap gets in the way of the weapon when you’re about to shoot, it can be easily unscrewed and moved a notch up on the left shoulder strap. The feedback from our lefthanded costumers is that the backpacks works fine

Im a left hand shooter. And have one of the original backpacks. No problem getting the gun out for me. Only thing I did was unscrewing the release and moved it further up since it was in the way when shouldering the gun as it was to start with. Now its not an issue👍

@@vornequipment regardless in what you do it’s still too slow in getting a weapon out and ready to take a shot but I take your points you make but not for me as being left handed as it will not work .

@@perazzi224 As Phillip commented over as a links shooter, and many like him, it should not be a problem. With some practice, you should be able to get the rifle out quickly. Having a VORN hunting backpack is not just for quick access to your firearm but also to protect it. We can say that there is no faster system for getting your firearm ready. Have a nice day!

@@vornequipment That quick access sounds great and seems to work quite effectively. I'd love a hands-on with one of these packs as my other packs are not designed with rifles in mind. Great work - the 30 litre version would probably be best for me as my main rifle is quite short.
