Great video. Never seen a video like this before, and I'm very impressed with your aesthetic and overall production. Cheers.
the quality of these videos is insane. Keep it up bro
I have been blessed enough to take a few medical trauma classes; The first thing the instructor told us was to remove the plastic off the tourniquet. Plus I would recommend more than one... "2 is 1 and 1 is None!"6:25
I have been looking forward to this video! Came at the perfect time as my wife and I are building out ours. Keep up the work!
Came to comment pretty much the same thing, the asthetics of your content is unmatched. Always cool to see you connect with the makers of items you might display. Most people would get to a production like this after hundreds of videos! Please continue making more! I would love a video on what influenced you to go into firearms, training, and being self reliant then taking that to make KZread videos(like an origin story)
Truly love all of your videos! Thanks for the awesome content!
Just found your channel! Your aesthetic, knowledge, and video style is amazing! Keep it up man.
Awesome!! Definitely adding things to my kit by learning from you thanks man!
Nice! Thanks for making and sharing your bug-out items! Video and audio quality is top-notch.

Amazing content as always!
Absolutely love the quality of the channel and your content, I really hope you continue to grow and put out great videos 👍🏻
This is some of the highest quality content on KZread. Definition of under rated. Keep up the great work, and hopefully more people see this. This should be one of the biggest guntube channels.

Good video. well structured and easy to understand. Scouting has always been a good basis for survival skills. You have a plan that keeps improving that is always good. I subscribed to see you grow. stay safe and have a great day.
My guy has 3 kinds of superglue but no bic lighter... Instead of imagining what you would want, go on a few weekend trips and you will end up with a pretty good idea of what you'll actually need. The best way to do this is to write down everything you didn't use during a trip. If you didn't need it a few times or you didn't even come close to using it then chuck it. Vise versa for things to add.
Unreal channel man!
GREAT VIDEO!

Great to see a tech style video for EDC/Guns and gear really like this style very different!
For how good your content is I’m surprised that you don’t have more subs honestly but I like your setup
Found your channel today. I subbed because your thumbnails are neat.
Very nice
First time I found you, subbed! Looking forward to exploring your content. Something I would also consider is the total weight of the pack if you're walking with it long distances vs leaving in a car and what boots or shoes you also take. This is something I've cared more about as I left my 20's behind...
Great vid, I would suggest breaking that $100 into smaller bills & staging that tourniquet (take out of plastic & opening to full size) seconds count when bleeding out.
Really high quality content. It doesnt sound like you know what your talking about when it comes to some of the gear, i would get more experience with the gear and the pack in general. Also try do an over night test with the bag to see if it meets all your needs. I personally wouldn't have 2 full rolles of tape plus so many zip ties and glue, they are repair items and shouldn't be neededing very much of them for 72h. I would also like to point out that you will probably be quite cold at night with your shelter setup. Think about adding some emergency blankets or a emergency bivvi, or even better a light weight sleeping bag. Good video but not such good setup for a realistic situation
I recommend carrying an entire ROLL of fishing line as well as having a few hooks in your kit! Besides being able to fish for food you can do a million different things with fishing like to hunt(trap an animal) make an early warning system for approaching bears or people in your camp site. Tie logs together and make a shelter off the ground or even booby traps. There’s still a ton more you can do
Hey just found your channel, this is the first video I watched. A couple recommendations I have for you is unwrap your tourniquets and stage them. A water bladder such as one from Hydrapak, it packs super small and has an accessory cap that works with the sawyer mini. Also a small camp stove such as one from MSR or similar.
I feel like im watching a high quality tech review channel, in a good way
you must do media for living. i enjoy the youtube style cinematic format with our gun community. killing it
Thanks for the video! How am I just seeing your channel now? I’ve been searching for bug out bag videos on KZread for a year now.
Cool video. Lot of good stuff in there but I'd strongly argue that you will want to add wet wipes. They are worth their weight in gold when out in the wild for longer stretches. Done a few week+ maneuvers and they are just pure gold. Also, to give yourself the best chances possible; please take the tourniquet OUT in the plastic. Because of how fast you might need it, you don't want to **** around with unpacking it when you might be dealing with a broken arm and only have one hand to break into that plastic. If you need to put it on in under 45seconds you don't want to mess with unpacking it. Stay safe! Cheers.
Amazing video very informative! What tactical pants do you use??!!
Love the vids bro my kit has a lil fpv drone put in constantly thinking it doesn’t make sense
Cool day hike bag bro
Only thing I seen that you should do different is on the LTC medic pouch take the tourniquet out of the plastic. Its a small thing yes but when the time comes and you need to use it having to mess around and take it out of the plastic it came in only delays the actual application on a limb.
I focus more on things I’d need right after an emergency I have a full first aid kit/ trauma kit and water kit. For shelter I only have an emergency tent because I’m more likely to sleep in a car are a hotel. I have an umbrella if it’s raining. I also have a full case with a big tent and camping gear we go camping with every year. Have extra clothes, snacks, radio, chargers, photos of everyone and masks.
Bruh your videos are Crispy asf and your gear is always very detailed respect ✊🏾

Nice vid and set up. I would suggest unwrapping things. Lightens your load and allows you to make sure gear is functioning as expected.
Great videos! Love the guns. Keep up the great quality. Consider vacuum sealing less used items and fabric items in your bug bags. Less of a foot print overall in the bag and completely water tight.
cool setup! one note, open up and restage the TQ, don't want a heavy hemorage trying to open a plastic cover
Really good kit. My only suggestion would be to swap your cash for smaller bills. Easier to not deal with money back and change in most situations.
Add some biscuits, chocolate bars, energy drink, a mountain helmet, headlamp, 5mt 11mm static rope, 25kn carabiners of 3-5 piece, a jammer, SDR, a mat, 5 season tent, sleepnig bag comfort -28 degrees celcius, powerbank, solar panels, battery, multitool, 5mt 6mm rope, a multitask shovel, are just some basic things you shoukd have
Great video, it makes for a good reference point to build a kit. As a knife guy though, I'd recommend a better fixed blade. Those Gerber's don't hold up and you'll constantly be sharpening it, so you'll have to add a good pocket sharpener to that kit. I recommend a better knife like the Cold Steel SRK in 3V, Falkniven A1, ZT 0006, Bark River Bravo series, Demko Free Reign in Magnacut (ignore the aus10), TRC Apocalypse or South Pole, Cold Steel Master Hunter. Those are fool-proof, rock steady options.
Video idea would be where to go for a crisis situation and how to survive the first 24 hours without food or water.
Your dry tender can Id reccomened melting down some wax or petrol jelly and soaking half of it.. itll catch fire faster and burn longer. Otherwise dope setup
Take the TQ out of the plastic and correctly stage it. If you need a TQ you don't want to be fighting the plastic when seconds count
For your paracord, I recommend using titan pro paracord.
Incredible video as always! May I recommend you putting the total price for everything at the top of each kit page on your website? It would be super convenient to see the total price instead of having to open every link to add it up by hand. Keep it up!
Suggestion: really consider reducing the weight for a 72 hour kit. If you need to travel long distances weight makes a huge differences and there's a lot of items that you could get away with a lot less of, like the duct tape, tp, packaging, chap stick, etc. Also lighter weight options for essentials like fire starting, bags, hygiene, etc. Just my .02, everyone's situation is different! Good luck on your journey, and great job with the video, keep them coming!
a rule to follow for those reading this is only buy things you could conceivably use. Theres so much cool gear out there but if you wouldnt use it or cant use it or arent with someone who can then you are just adding weight to your pack. Two is one, one is none. You MUST have two or more ways to make fire, purify water, and cut things.
Awesome video! I love your videos, but could you do one for what to wear for survival? One for survival and another for invasion?
the mylar blanket thing aint waf, I promise you. You can squat/kneel sit on part of it, wrap the rest around you and it'll save you from, cold/wind rain for 2-3 hours, Then youll collapse. it's worthless when (not if) you have to lay down What you need, really badly, is a 1 b net hammock, the 1.5 lb XL size reflective tyvek bivy, $95 from 2GoSystems, NOT the regular size! it's too small for any but little Asian men.. You need to make a plastic "envelope" to put aorund that bivy, cause it's not worth much without one. Make it out of a couple of heavy duty 55 gallon drum liners, taped together and also tape in a full length sleeping bag zipper. You'l find this combo to be quite amazing, Pull the hammock and a ridgline thru the bivy, and close off the ends. Pull another ridgeline thru JUST the envelope, so that the envelope does not touch the bivy anywhere. There can be no air-leaks, or this system wont work. So use a light to look for pinholes. and tape them shut. If it's cold, set the hammock 6" off of the ground, with you in it and kick debris under it. It's important to stop the flow of air under you. It's also important to not let the bivy touch you anywhere and to keep your face out of the bivy. With just cammies, balaclava, gloves, unlaced shoes, 3 pairs of sock liners, and shemagh, this set up will let you sleep just fine in wind and rain at 40F. If you'll add a couple of 1/4 lb each full body bugent 'suits' from Amazon ($30 each) and a pair of their 1/2 lb each "cut-leaf" type of camo nets, same price, you can sleep fine at 34F, in wind and rain. What you do is wrap the camo nets around yourself, in between the bugnet suits, all of this worn as longjohns. I wear Wiggy's net longjohns to do this. You can add another 10F degrees of warmth by putting dry debris between the bugnet suits and under the wraps of the camo nets (this time outside of your cammies) Since you need the hammock, bugnet suits bivy/canopy, gloves, shemagh, sock liners, and camo nets at any temps, this is VERY little extra bulk and weight to handle a lot of cold weather. You can gain 10F more degees of warmth if you have enough dry debris to stuff between the bivy and the "envelope", but that's a LOT of debris (not portable). Same thing can be done by using a discrete Dakota fire pit to heat up water or rocks, and put those items inside of the foot box of your bivy. They stay warm 2-3 hours, then you have to repeat. Sedatives, pain killers, "go" aod "no go" pills, antibiotics, Ace knee wrap, sleep-mask, earplugs, stimulants, anti-inflammatories have almost no bulk or weight and are PRICELESS aids in a crisis, guys. The morning sun or the one way projected heat of a Siberian fire lay can be "aimed" at a 3x4 ft oval of clear PEVA shower curtain {wallys) that is taped over the open end of your bivy and gain you up to 20 F degrees for 2-3 hours. So this kit is easily modfied to handle TRULY cold situations. There's a discrete way to dry out the body-amount of wet debris in one night, and a way to (not discrete) dry out the big amount of wet debris. Once it's below 10F (especially at night) having an open fire is no big risk, as long as you are GONE from that area by dawn'". By not having to have another such fire, the large amount of debris can be a life-safer. I use both a 1 lb buttpaack and a 1.5 lb daypack. I empty them out, stuff them with debris and use them as sleeping-pads (normally, up in the hammock) I had to add a much wider, stiffer belt to the buttpack. My spare t-shirt and boxer shorts are my hip pads. My spare socks are my shoulder pads.
I also wear glasses so what did that price of they cost do they take your lenses and put in the glasses how's that work just curious I need to get some
Nice setup and great thought put into the organization. May I suggest loosing some of the packaging on a bunch of items. Saves a surprising amount of size and weight. Nice video
MIRA safety are pretty much the gold standard in gas masks! Well done on a storage bag for the mask. Think about investing in a proper folding saw such as Bahco or Silky, the wire saw is labour intensive whereas the folding saws cut branches like a hot knife through butter!
Once again bringing us the essentials in an engaging and wonderfully composed video. Keep it up!
hey I know Im late. Whats the brand of the bag? thanks.
Both in my wife and my 24h kit 😂
Dräger XD Best Gas masks you can buy my friend
❤
if you put more tban 15 lbs in any pack that lacks a wide, stiff hip belt, hip pads and a frame, it will eat your LUNCH before you've lugged it even 5 miles, and even less if you'te fighting brush, mud, snow, hills. Use SOMETHING to make the weight shift onto your hips and get pads between the hip belt and your hips, or you'll regret it, I promise you!
I have a similar kit myself, but one small thing I personally like to keep around is a pack of cigarettes. Not because I smoke, but because cigarettes could act as a bartering item if needed or even light pain relief / a distraction if I happen to do medical on someone who is a smoker.
@GUNMENusa

Dang that’s actually a really good idea, I don’t smoke either, but I think I might add that because you make some good points!
As an alternative pack compared to what most everyone else uses, that's a very nice and interesting "grayman" pack. Only thing I was disappointed not to see in there as no shelter of any kind. With it being a clam shell, you could simply put basically any kind of tarp in between the 2 halves. Gold Armour has "for the price" a great 10x10 that you can put in most any kind of configuration.
@999torres

@outdoorslifesurvivecraft5078

@@999torres I'll agree that it's something better than nothing as far as I can see. Though I'll admit I can't see the size of it. But I also couldn't see if it had any tie outs on it. It didn't look like it. So if it's no more than a waterproof blanket, I would want something a little more to go over it. Better safe that sorry.
Mira safety is just rebranding most if not all of their stuff. Their gas masks are AVEC OM-90 and AVEC CM-6 That most of the time you can get cheaper elsewhere
bro you gotta stage that TQ my guy
next up, med bag and tccc!!
A few comments, overall great kit. You should stage your tourniquets. Lose the wire saw and get a foldable saw like a Silky Gone Boy. Lose the toilet paper and bring washcloths instead. I know it sounds gross af. But once the single roll of tp is gone, you'll be up shits creek with nothing to wipe with lol.
What camera you running my dude??
take that TQ out of the plastic on the Creed kit and stage it. You need to be able to apply it with one hand if necessary. Good looking kit though.
Don’t stop making videos daddy ❤❤❤
A map without a compass is pointless, gotta get a compass. Also your maps don't look water proof. I'd laminate or acetate those. Get some alcohol map markers. You seem like you've got some spending money: go grab a Garmin E-trex 22. Updated digital maps and waterproof off 2 AAs. Garmin is primary, physical maps are back up. What flinksteel is that?
one advice ...Spend this $ and put in beg silver coins and 1 or 2 gold coins ...that can open many doors and work everywhere !
I would ditch that roll of duct tape for a roll of gorilla tape. Ive used so many different types of duct tape in many different environments (extreme cold, wet, extreme hot, wind, etc.) and gorilla tape is the only tape that has proven its worth.
Only out of experience: add sunscreen and bug off like Badger cream. Trust me on this. Good bags.
From a prepper’s perspective: the first thing I would do is add some higher calorie foods - sugar is good for a short term energy burst but if thats what you are carrying it for i would recommend some instant coffee or caffeine pills for that instead. I would instead carry trail mix, beef jerky, and other more calorically rich and higher nutrient snacks, this will keep you going for much longer than the sweets. Carrying more food id especially important if you live in a more urban area. Also, if you have the budget I would highly recommend getting the mountain house brand freeze dried meals instead, they usually have about a 25 year shelf life. I would also break down that $100 bill into 20s 10s 5s and 1s so you can more easily have exact change for things. Also take your duck tape and wrap only about a quarter of it onto an old gift card or something like that. It will make it a lot less bulky and a lot lighter. You don’t really need that much duck tape in a pack like this. Also, if you take everything out of its packaging, it will make things a lot less bulky and lighter as well. I saw another comment about this too. Lastly Iraq I recommend switching your double walled insulated water bottle and that baking tin for a single walled stainless steel bottle and nesting cup. This makes your cooking situation a lot easier. This is a fantastically well put together video overall though! As soon as I came across this video, I hit the subscribe button!
