I know Volvos are good in mud and snow, but the rock climbing at the end was impressive. good job.

of course, the Grand Cherokee and the land are much better in off road, but thank you to recognize the good work of my volvo

Its all about the volvo life man. I got an 01 v70 2.4t. Love it.

I have xc70 2.4T. It is excellent compromise between road and offroad. It is very stable and comfortable on the road. Also very capable in deep snow. Very Good all around vehicle!

My dad have an Volvo XC70 2.4T and it is very very good car

On the last climb, I love how the camera operator was standing right in the road when the vehicles were coming through. They each had to stop so they didn't run the person over. Nice job, camera operator. You showed them who was boss.

Hi XC70're not a car, it's a lifestyle .... Joking aside, this is a very strong car, very reliable, very comfortable. My engine is a 163 hp D5 and is equal in front of a 190 hp engine Land free lander. By cons do not get AUDI, BMW, or Mercedes. The 5-cylinder is very oncteux and flexible and is able to get high power. A drive at high speed, do not be afraid to appeal against the call and caller dampers for the 4WD engage and catch the car to the ground. I recommend.

SUV-34 Randonnée en famille.....Exactly.... I own a 2004 Xc70 T5..... Very powerful and extremely fun to drive.... But you can't compare them to vehicles on that type of terrain .... Especially when they have 6 inches more of ground clearance.... Now if you compared them to an Audi or Subaru then it would be a good comparison....

That's what's great! It is to be able to evolve in offroad with different vehicles and to be able to compare like some are agile and others less at ease. But the main and share the hikes and have a good time.

Great job by the XC70. Of course, you would expect a great job by the Land Rover and the Jeep.

for you who dont know VOLVO XC 70 CROSS COUNRY and all others XC cars are used by Swedish Police as main car and they are expensive as hell, even old ones :) plus i think 90% of them do have Automatic Transmission, there is also V70 model but V70 is more kinda familiy car, XC 70 made for OFF ROAD, its higher and more powerfull :)

if you want a safe ofroad car i recommend the volvo c303

no ground clearance!!

Why put your vehicle through this...The XC 70 can do lots of off road stuff, but it is long, and even with the clearance it has, it is going to be scraping the underside due to the the length of it.....Break things...go on

Bonjour Jean Christophe, et bien comme ça on sera 2 en France, à crapahuter en Volvo XC70, je ne me sentirai plus seul au monde ! :) Le système de contrôle des 4 roues motrices est en effet un système Haldex mais apparemment amélioré, car une pompe Hydraulique améliore le rendu. En effet comme Haldex appartenait à Volvo, un Systéme particulier a été conçu pour le XC70. Je roule en boite automatique Geartronic séquentiel qui est pour beaucoup dans l'onctuosité de mes passages. En essence avec boite manuelle, vous risquez de caller souvent. Je vous conseille donc une boite auto pour le Off Road. Par contre si c'est pour vous faire plaisir également sur la route, la manuelle est préférable. Donc à vous de voir.

SUV-34 Randonnée en famille justement vu que tu parle de boite auto est ce que pour faire du tout terrain la boite auto n'est pas un handicape ? j'ai toujours entendu dire que sur un 4x4 c'est déconseillé perso je préfère la boite auto mais on m'a dit que ça réduit ses performances en tout terrain du fait que on contrôle pas les rapportes de la boite et autre truc, pour le crabotage tu me conseille les systèmes actuel électronique avec le bouton ou les vieux système d'avant a levier a cote du levier de vitesse ? le quelle et le plus performant ?
