The reason I believe that they asked you to go around is to protect their pavement. The company I’m with now, as I wait for my truck to get ready, has a 40 acre lot. And I’ve chewed drives out for making u turns when they could have gone around the shop building.

Hey my friend. Yeah, they didn’t know what I’m picking up because it was there little too early, and the night shift didn’t know nothing about my pick up, that’s why they send me to the second set of docks to ask there. But they didn’t know nothing too 😀. I waited little bit till first shift showed up. Than everything was clear. It was the first set of docks where I first check in.
