Good video. I tried to install L.E.D light, followed your method. Turned the car over and message board states multiple light bulbs failure. Any advice ?

Did bulbs actually failed or message wasn't gone? Well, let's sort it out, start with a basics: 1. L.E.D light usually failed prematurely from the heat. 2. Check any loose connections if any. 3. Look for any shorts to the ground or power and open circuit. Also, check master fuse (fuse #1) in the fuse box that is near the driver's left leg. I hope it just was a fluke. It was even recall on P2 chassis Volvo for Multiple Bulbs Failure. Let me know if that helped?

Does anyone know if the headlight assemblies are different from let’s say a 2001 s80 and v70? Or would it all line up the same?

Seems to be the only thing tht remains constant on a volvo

Easier to change than the S60 from 2004-2009

Is 'Low beam' the same bulb? Also in another vid about this it says H7 in the Volvo manual is WRONG.. That H11 is the correct socket instead

Hey Sam! On Volvo Low and High beams have different bulbs. Any parts store can find right bulb for your Volvo.

Great, but my volvo has less space. And I cant get the connector off so the spring is in the way...

Will this be the same for a 2004 v70 ?

So far as I know from other viewers 2003 and up Volvo cars are totally different. In 2003 Volvo replaced glass headlights with plastic. Let me know if it worked for you.
