    I've driven a 2015 Black Volvo S60 sedan T5 for 2 years straight, this car saved my butt twice (2 times) during my time on the road... This this is an awesome feature, I feel safe having it

    Tech meets safety. That should come in handy in rush hour stop n' go traffic. Not that drivers should be less careful; it's just an added safety feature.

    Well that's also ok, but still there are many other drivers that drive at 40km/h (not sure how much in mph is that), on the other hand if the system works only at 10mph or less then it would be ok, but on the other hand, most of the people don't get distracted after they start breaking, they do before it, and at that time they usually drive faster than 10mph. However this system would be helpful for inexperienced drivers that are still unable to judge the car's breaking distance and brake late

    Amazing. Too bad all city driving is at 40kph in Canada and I'm guessing 25mph in US? But at least if your stuck in traffic so long that you fall asleep this could save you some scratched paint.

    People drive like this all the time during stop and go traffic jam like in LA or when making a right turn when the car in front of you actually stop while you are looking at your left.

    they were actually recently bought out by another company in 2010. Some chineese company, Ford no longer owns them

    it only works with speeds below 30 mph which means it only works at non lethal speeds . it should work also at high speeds !!!

    Im not sure, I believe Consumer Reports gave the new models average predicted reliability. European cars in general are just not known for there reliability which is a true shame :/

    It works with pedestrians , Vehicles , walls , anything of that size. I don't know if it works with animals like dogs or cats! I hope it does , but it should be test (with fake animals, not real)!

    If I remember correctly, Volvo reliability was still higher than all other Euro and American brands, but still not as good as they were before the Ford takeover.

    Not that keen on a system that even partially tries to compensate for driver inattention. Better driver education and responsibility is the key to road safety.

    the first thing I would do if I had that car would be to disable the system. nobody needs to be in control of the vehicle but the driver.
