Volvo 850 DYNO: k24 Turbo

Had to opportunity to dyno my volvo 850 on a mustang dyno (15% lower than a dynojet)!
Very happy with the numbers considering it had some knock and we had to turn it down, will get it dialed in and take it back :).
Thanks to cade/koa for cam creds.

    Get that intake out of your engine bay, route it through the hood or fender to grab that cold fresh air instead of hot engine heat.. Other than that, nice work my friend! Volvo forever

    309 WHP/364WTQ made in this video. Once we get it full dialed in, and tuned I expect 340WHP/380WTQ.

    Stock rods? If so how far are you willing to push them? I know you said it's running off E54. I guess I'm just real curious on how much can be made without going inside the engine. Even though putting in H beams is not that big of a deal on the whiteblocks.

    Cxracing Hbeam rods are installed with stock pistons, engine is now good for 600 BHP. Stock rods probably can’t go past 350-400 bhp

    @@omarplat334 Nice I used to have an 850 was going to put these rsport rods in it that I still have but things changed and now I have a 16v turbo 240. 500-600hp is probably when it becomes difficult to make power with the stock cams I'm thinking.

    What's your duty cycle? My greens 468cc hit 100% at 6500rpm @ 22psi on hybrid billet 22t. And that's with dw200 pump and wmi 50/50 mix 375cc nozzle. Running e54 your going to need at least 650cc injectors on k24 I would think. Also stock pump is only good to about 275-300whp from what my tuner has told me. I'm guessing you've also upgraded maf?

    Could be your lean issue is fuel starvation (injectors/pump. These like around 11.7-12 max afr at wot. I'm about to get some dw800s and sell my barely used oem bosch greens.

    Ota Greven I’m not sure what the duty cycle is. At 22 psi now with, 900 CC injectors, 340 lph fuel pump, and bmw 3.5” maf. There was an issue with the fuel causing the knock and lean condition. Bad batch

    @@omarplat334 ahh so was fuel quality not supply? I went with the dw pump because was straight plug n play. Im only running 93+ meth but i would like to make the switch to e85. I should've went with the bmw 3.5 maf my volvo 960 3" hits max volume 1407kg/h near redline. Works for now but im right at the limit. Which brand injectors you running?

    Ota Greven yeah may have been contaminated. I’m running Deka 80s currently, E is awesome. Definitely recommend it!

    Hi Omar Your Volvo 850 400 HP can Defeat that Crap Ugly 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT4 with 230HP FWD, My favorite car is the 2002 SAAB 9-3 5DR Hatchback and 2DR Convertible.

    I used to have a 96 Saab 9000. It was very fast lol. Faster than my srt 4 for sure. Miss it but now I have an S70 glt. Not as fast but I'll make it as close as I can.
